Good location if you want to be in the caravanasery area. It was great that hotel included entry to flying theatre which was really good. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are large and clean and modern. Wifi worked well. Beds are comfortable. Shower worked well. It’s easily walkable from hotel to the old sights which is good. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Bar at hotel seemed to be only place that sold alcohol as other restaurants did. Most of the place is empty in terms of shops around as still being developed but plenty to see and do for a day. The hotel restaurant at dinner was completely empty but we ate next door.

Only issue was fridge in room did not work most of the time which is an issue if one relies on it for medication. Also the front desk lady said the show was on at 9pm which we checked with her few times but turned out it was at 8pm so we missed it and there is no information written anywhere. This standard information should be provided in the rooms in written format. More Kazakh decor would be good.

I don't normally like big resorts, but I am glad that I tried Karavansaray. It was undeniably good value for money; the room and spa were excellent and certainly 5 star standard. There was a good choice at breakfast, with a varied selection of fruit, pastries, yoghurts and savoury fresh/cooked goods; there was also the option of having eggs/omelettes cooked to order. I didn't try the restaurant for evening meals, but I did have room service one evening and it was very tasty. Reception staff were very helpful, organising a free shuttle to bring me from the train station and facilitating an early check-in. Definitely make use of the free use of the spa (the hammer is lovely) and the flying theatre (the main ride is awesome). I'm not a big fan of shows, but definitely go to the 9pm free show on the lake; it has lights and fountains that work in time to music and some amazing performers who enact a Kazakh folk story in boats, really enjoyable.

It can be a little noisy due to the music that is piped through speakers all over the resort. It was a little bit deserted and not everything was open on the resort, but it was out of season so that it to be expected.

Everything was great. Breakfast is what you'll find in a good Turkish hotels: fruit, veggies, pastry, olives, pancakes and so on. The staff are very polite and friendly. The admins took care of the initial hiccup and offered a free ride to the airport. The location is great. All you may want or need, including shops, cafes, and the historical sites, is in a walking distance. The Flying Theater is a must-see, and the tickets are free if you're staying at the hotel.

There was a problem with the transfer. They were supposed to pick us up at the airport. But when I called, I was told there was no transfer reservation for us. We called up a taxi, which was expensive and a long-wait. However, 5 min later I got a call with apologies and we were picked up within 5 more min. We had to pay half the fee for cancelling our taxi, but we saved nonetheless as we were offered a compensatory free ride on our way back. So even if you have a problem, the staff will find a satisfactory solution for you.

Very good newly built hotel in a new tourist area. Everything looks new, staff very well trained and helpful. Good WiFi everywhere. Rooms good with a balcony. Big bathroom including very big shower. Mattress one of the deepest I have seen.

Only thing that let's it down is the standard of the breakfast. Very poor for a 5 star hotel. Limited choice, not great coffee and juices are not fresh and with added sugar

Everything. Starting from check-in to checkout. Room, facilities, staff behaviour everything was topnotch. Front desk people were polite with smiling face and were ready to help whenever I needed. They explained extra benefit that came along with room.

1) I am a big fan of pastries in breakfast but sadly it was not there in breakfast. However breakfast was as good as it can get. 2) They should allow their employees who work at bar to take rest in night. Who keeps their bar open 24 hours? This is next level service. Though I enjoyed my order at 1 AM ))

Everything, in the heart of new Turkestan. Tickets for the flying theatre, very convenient and highly recommended! Oh, and the food in the restaurant was amazing!

I don't know why, but I was sure that there was a swimming pool in the hotel. My bad. SPA is open, but there is no swimming pool. With no swimming pool I think the hotel is overpriced.

I loved everything about this hotel—once I found it. Many thanks to the reservations manager, whose name I didn’t get, for sending an electric car to the Family Entertainment Centre to transport me to the hotel. The hotel is situated in a combination of theme park, shopping centre, learning centres and lots more besides. It is a very short walk from Turkestan’s big draw the Khoja Ahmed Mausoleum and the adjacent sights and sites. The rooms and facilities are excellent. Special thanks to Berik for upgrading me to a room with a balcony overlooking the evening Theatrical Floating Performance and for recommending the utterly unmissable Flying Theatre. Perizat and Munisa were both very pleasant and helpful in the hotel restaurant for supper and breakfast respectively. A great place in great surroundings. My single regret was that I was staying for only one night.

Location is the best and the complimentary tickets to flying theatre is good. Rooms are big and they have kept the comfort of client in their mind.

I wish their Sauna works from 8 AM. I just have one regret of not utilizing their Sauna this time.

Comfortable, clean, quiet. Nice restaurants in the hotel and in the resort nearby. Good location, walking distance to attractions. The pictures on Booking.com do not do it justice and in comparison to the other 5 star hotel in Turkestan they have similar facilities but I would say this one has a better location and more things to do nearby.

The resort has a lot of spaces for food and retail that are not open. Occupancy is probably about 50% or a little less. Maybe this is related to the pandemic and the situation will improve. However, this is common throughout the city with one mall closed and the mall at the other hotel mentioned also has many unoccupied units.
