The staff! I had a bit of an issue initially. My Spanish was not sufficient to work through the matter. Fortunately, two people on the shift spoke English, one more than the other. They were BOTH responsive and super helpful.

What I am about to mention has NOTHING to do with the hotel itself. Booking.com had a misleading description of the amenities page of its site for this Doubletree location, which influenced my choice making. I worked through it with the hotel. I see that Booking has thankfully corrected the mistake on the amenities page.

Good location. , right on the beach

The breakfast buffet was very un inspired. The same melon each day for breakfast, no oranges or pineapple or other varieties. The breakfast system is overcomplicated as you have to sign for the meal and the waiters ask for a tip. Coffee and milk is served to you but I had to ask every day . Music too loud at breakfast.

We booked it for the pool as we wanted a relaxing break. The pool was a good size and not busy on our stay. The water was very cold - which would have been wonderful on a warmer day. The room did not have a great deal of character but it was a good size, as was the bathroom.

It lacked a bit of character and the personal touch. I imagine it is more aimed at professionals on business trips.

Great view and location, right in front of the gulf. The breakfast buffet is also great and has a lot of variety.

The pillows and bedlinen smelled humid at first, but it was fine after they changed them for fresh ones. Also the room was always a little dark even when we turned on all the lights, specially around the bed because there are no light bulbs there other than the lamps on the night tables (which weren't strong enough to light up the area).

Well located, close to downtown and close to the Good restaurants and attractions

The building it’s getting old, the pool was very cold and the price is a little bit expensive for the type of hotel. Some personnel not very polite.

Location is great but is not at the beach and has not a beach for the guest... beach is right across the street and is fun and super busy because is a public beach

This hotel was lovely and right on the water. The bed was fabulous and I had dinner delivered most nights after long conference days. Staff was extremely helpful and kind.

The price was a bit high for the area, including for food in the hotel restaurant.

At check out they had a mixed up about getting me a cab to the airport I almost missed my flight

I booked 4 nights, if I did not like it we’ll go to a different hotel, overall my and I liked it and I booked another 4 nitghs, very satisfied with our stay, Luis from Corona Calif, USA

Nice comfortable rooms. The staff was fantastic. I love the Tacos, Cerveza y Tequila buffette and the live music was great.

The windows in the room were dirty so nice ocean view
