Super comfortable stay with nice service & amenities for the long boat trip. Fun bar downstairs and tasty morning breakfast with views of the MeKong elephant sanctuary- the whole reason we booked. Cannot recommend two nights enough- peaceful town and incredible elephant experience.

LOUD in the wee hours of the morning. There is some renovations happening which I can understand, but you hear EVERYONE getting the day started in the restaurant and around the property at 6:30am. Ask for upstairs if possible; much quieter in those rooms. Not a dealbreaker though!

Basic, but comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Nice balconies with Mekong view. Good place for one night during slow boat trip to Pang Prabang.

The only thing to complain about is the loud bar (Happy Bar) just in front of balconies with really loud music till the evening (like around 22.00-22.30). So if you want to rest after arriving in the afternoon sitting on balcony and watching the river, it’s impossible. Of course this is not the hotel fault, but if you are looking for quiet place, choose another place.

A very nice stay! Right outside my door is a patio. The room was spacious and clean.. Very nice hosts. It is a place to stay if you're taking the slow boat. And no worries cuz the host has a sign when you get off the boat and takes you there.. one confusing thing is that Google maps tells you it's 53 minutes away when it's really only one minute away from the walk through town. It's really only minutes from the boat dock. Oh and I love this colonial French wood that is in the room and on the doors!

Good location in walking distance to the pier, restaurants and mini market. There's a free shuttle from and to the pier (when you leave I recommend to walk to the pier as the shuttle starts a little late to get a good seat on the boat). Clean room. Friendly staff. Small breakfast included. You have to possibility to get food for take away for the boat ride.

The pillows where pretty hard and high which made it very uncomfortable. Loud music from the Happy Bar can be heard in the rooms. As we checked out we realized that our door couldn't be locked properly.

Staff is lovely, very kind and friendly. It felt very safe there. The building is beautiful. Hotel owner met us at our boat landing and brought us right to the hotel. Also gave us a lift back to the landing in the morning. Room was very clean. Breakfast was included and was delicious! Fresh fruits, savory pastries, eggs, noodles, excellent coffee...I would like to return to Pak Beng and will certainly choose BKC Villa when I do.

Electrical didn't seem entirely safe; could be updated.

They picked us up from the pier and dropped us back the next morning. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was nice and they made us a sandwich to take on the boat. A great place to stay as a stopover when taking the Slow Boat.

Other than when we checked in there was no one around to assist. We weren’t told where breakfast would be (as it’s not in the main building) but it’s just up the stairs opposite the hotel entrance and we managed to find it after messaging the owner. It didn’t bother us too much, but the only bar in Pakbeng happens to be next door and plays music until 11.30, worth considering if you’re a light sleeper.

Villa is right above the slow boat pier, but unfortunately next to the night bar, which is quite loud. We knew about the night bar before we book it, so we were prepared for it. So if you dont mind the music until late hours is perfect accommodation with exceptional breakfast (bufet style). Bed is really comfy and you have everything what you need for the one night.

It was ok, but nothing special. The breakfast was tasty (there were springrolls, which is great). Room could be a bit cleaner, but it's still more clean than most hotels in Laos.

In the reviews we have red that the owners are very kind. They were "normal", nothing special. But maybe they had bad day (?)

I loved how close this was to the slow boat and the staff were amazing. So kind. Offered to lend us their scooter to go to town if we wanted and offered to drive us to the slow boat early the next day so we could get a decent seat. One thing to note though, if you are super noise sensitive, this might not be for you. The walls are thin.

Wifi was slow in the rooms but fine in common area. Pillows were terrible but really such a minor thing, who cares?
