The rooms were simple, but had everything you might need. There isn't any tea-making facilities, but plenty of sockets to charge devices etc. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. I slept very well. The shower and toilet are small but everything worked very well. FOOD was great here. We went to the dining room for an evening meal, because the restaurant we had chosen was booked out. However, the hotel restaurant provided an EXCELLENT range on the menu, and when the food came the portions were large and it was delicious - we ate too much. Breakfast was given in a different room, but had a good range of hot and cold and I ate too much. Car parking is out the front and is very convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location right next to the bus station. Friendly English speaking staff. The hotel is staffed all the time, so I didn't have to tell them my exact arrival time etc. The room was a bit unusual set up, but everything was clean. Excellent WiFi. I really liked the outdoor terrace restaurant which had excellent food, and some tables in a smoking area as well. It was definitely worth stopping in Bauska to also see the city and the castle. So many people do a day trip from Riga directly to Rundales castle and back, without seeing anything else.

Could have been without the gigantic TV, which was sticking out on a fixed arm obscuring the use of the desk!

Good location for a transit by car. Bauska is also a nice small place to have a walk with a beautiful castle over the river. Breakfast is quite good buffet, not a huge variety but there is hot meal, salades and other stuff. Quite good for the price. Rooms are simple but clean, bathrooms could be a bit upgraded. Parking is available. 24 hrs check in and very helpful and supportive personal.

Nothing really considering the price, just that the bathroom needs an upgrade in some rooms. It is just a bit old. No fridge in the rooms (but you can ask at the reception and they put your stuff in the common fridge).

I liked the location and convenience of the place. Room was clean and we got a great room just to spend a night for a weekend getaway with the family. Im American but my daughter lives in Lithuania. We planned a trip to Latvia to visit two castles and we didn’t need much. Beds were comfortable and we got a cot for my granddaughter. Breakfast was good and we didn’t have a problem to connect to 🛜The hotel is close to supermarkets and attractions.

Bathroom needs some improvements in the shower area.

The bath was very large and took a seriously long time to fill. Breakfast was OK, but we felt it was a bit pricey for 7 euros each. There are lots of supermarkets near by from which a better breakfast could have been created. The decor in the room was a bit dated.

The location was right next to the bus station which was pretty nice. The hotel was nice and simple not much to complain or gloat about.

In our room the showerhead was broken so you had to hold it or have a very low shower. Also the breakfast was very minimal, the price was also quite minimal so not too much of a problem.

Stay here for your visit to Rundale Palace which is 10minutes away. Just opposite is the bus station and a convenience store. Has a fabulous restaurant onsite. The breakfast is lovely. What I love most is the TV channel range, great block out curtains and a top sheet on the bed. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Lots of free off street parking. Nearby is the centre with shops, cafes, town hall & Bauska Castle on the river.

Good value for money. Tasty breakfast. Great location for rest/overnight stay for car travelers. I stopped there on my way from Finland to Croatia and also on my way back. P.S. For those who are interested, the itinerary was as follows: Day one: Car trip to Helsinki, Helsinki-Tallinn ferry, Cartrip: Tallinn-Bauska; Day Two: Bauska (Lat)-Rawa Mazowecka (PL); Day Three: Rawa Mazowecka (PL) -Ilz (A); Day Four: Ilz (A) - Split (CRO) 3nights; 1st day : ca 450 km; 2nd -ca 750-800km, 3d - ca 800km; 4th: 600km. Exceptionally enjoyable trip. Warmly recommend. Accommodation in Rija Bauska Hotel(and hotels in Rawa Mazowecka & Ilz) served me a lot

The hotel is in a convenient location, with a large parking lot next to it. The room is spacious enough. Breakfast is modest, but everything is enough. There are several great restaurants nearby, same as supermarkets. The touristic attractions are also nearby.

Some facilities need updating, for example, the towels did not look very "fresh". Also note that not all rooms have a kettle and fridge.

Very nice, small and cosy hotel. Great suite, nice sauna and comfortable beds. Very spacious and luxurious. Parking just in front of the house, shops near, peaceful small town. Breakfast was delicious, albeit small. Coffee tasted really nice. Loved the place, the amenities and room.

The rooms were a bit cold, because of the storm and wind gusts outside.
