We stayed at the Island Break guesthouse for 4 nights and it was really incredible! Something to remember! The Island Break guesthouse is at great quiet location, very close to the bikini beach (1 minute walk). The guesthouse has a nice garden with a lounge bed ideal for relaxing, reading or watching the ocean. The whole guesthouse has some kind of a personal touch and that makes the atmosphere even more family-like and relaxed. The room is spacious, nicely furnitured (handmade by the owners from coconut tree), with a comfortable bed, very clean. There is air condition, fan, fridge and hot water in the bathroom. They provide you with beach towels and also with a bottle of drinking water every day. The room is cleaned daily, with clean towels provided every three days. The owners – three brothers are amazing young people, very kind and helpful, communicative (with excellent knowledge of English) and with a great hospitality which makes you feel like at home. One can really feel that they take care of each guest, starting prior to the arrival and during the whole time spent in the guesthouse. We will never forget how they accompanied us on the trip to the next island as if we were their family. The food is great - the best Maldivian breakfast we had in the Maldives was at Island Break! We also had dinners during our stay at the guesthouse and they made us delicious vegan food as both of us are vegans. And also something for which we are very thankful to the hosts – they made us a beautiful flower arrangement on our bed as we were celebrating 20th anniversary. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Perfect place to stay with a perfect hospitality, highly recommended! Thank you Brothers for making our stay at the Island Break so incredible.

Me and my girlfriend traveled to the Maldives and stayed here as the first trip with our baby daughter. We couldn't have chosen a better place. The brothers running this place are amazing hosts that did everything for us to have a pleasant stay. - Coordinated the service from the airport with great help - Made us switch room if we wished - Made special portions for our baby with fruits and vegetables cut in small pieces - Great organization with tours for both fishing, turtle snorkeling and shark point. We have traveled to more than 30 countries but this was by far the best service we have ever had in any of our stays (5 stars or not...) All our praise to the brothers, who we now consider friends rather than staff.

Small family accommodation with individual approach where we felt like at home. Lovely attentive staff. All our wishes were fulfilled. We were travelling with a child and the guys were spoiling him. Everyday cleaning was appreciated.

There is more rubbish in Fulidhoo than on other local islands we visited. Its a shame as its spoiling the impression. If there was a dustbin on the beach, perhaps people would put the rubbish to the bin and not throw it around. There is not much greenery on the bikini beach.

The owners were super friendly. Food was very good, they accommodated an early departure on our last day. Booked a day trip to manta point and shark point, to which they took us with their own private boat. Perfect! Lunch was possible on the nearby beach. Very good to be able to go to the jetty with the stingrays before all the tours arrive.

The island is under construction because a lot of sand washed away, therefore the tourist 'bikini'beach is not in use at the moment and there are sometimes large machines working at the beaches.

- the room only had one chair inside, we would prefer two on the balcony as shown on the photos - we really missed the welcome fruit-plate as on the photos, especially with all inclusive package - the rooms (floor and some furniture) could be improved a bit

Excellent value for the money for $70 usd/night. It included breakfast and dinner. Dinner was delicious every night; the Maldivian lobster is a must try. The excursions were great and reasonably priced. The location was fabulous. We did the whale shark snorkeling and it was amazing. Also planned to do fishing but timing didn’t allow for it. The brothers are very hospitable. Room was clean and the brothers made themselves available throughout. Even arranged for private transfer on our way out and joined us on the boat. Amazing time.

The facilities were a bit basic but that is expected at a local island. The value was amazing. Would definitely return.

Island break was really amazing! The owners/brothers was so kind and helpful to us :) we could really tell that they put their hearts in to the hotel :) the room was amazing, big and modern. The bed was really amazing to! The hotel was located by a nice bikini beach with sunbeds. We mostly hanged out at the bikini beach on the other side of the island, and Island Break had sunbeds there too so that was really nice! The island itself is really beautiful with nice clean beach and water :) it felt like being in a dream! It was not a lot of tourists there so the beach didn't get crouded at all which made the beach look like Maldivian pictures on Google ;) there was some construction work on the island at the moment, but it didn't bother us :). We would definetly come back to Fulhidoo and Island Break! Don't hesitate to book this hotel because you will get an amazing experience :) you will have lunch in front of the coral reaf and swim by the beach and have really good food! :) Thank you for having us and giving us an amazing memory!

Lovely location near quiet and pretty beach. Room number 4 has a long balcony looking out over bouganvillia, frangipane and coconut palms. it faces the Vaavu school, a cheerful green building. there is a flower filled courtyard out front snd sand floor restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The food was overpriced. and not very good. However the Faru cafe is one minute walk away so after the first day i didnt need to eat at the guest house. Meal times were inconvenient - though i believe this was because of Ramadan. Make sure you bring USD to settle any bills as credit card machine unreliable - it wasnt working at the tume i was there.

First thing we liked was the communication and easy agreement with the owners regarding our arrival. They welcomed us and explained in details things we needed to know (food, excursions, beaches etc.). Location is great with big backyard and includes the beach view. Food was freshly made by Mohamed and it was delicious 5 star :) Moosa was always there for any questions and request( we ware looking for volleyball etc.) Excursions were super, private without large groups, Moosa was taking photo of us under water. For Valentines day we have surprise. For four couples in Hotel, brothers made romantic evening on the beach including dinner wit plate fish, non alcoholic but great Champagne...every girl got a red rouse. Hotel is owned by four brother, but most of the time we were with Moosa and Mohamed. Also, we want to say something about a furniture in Hotel, which is made mostly from coconut tree and brother have done it with their own hands. They have sense for style, guests, kitchen.. they know their job perfectly. Thank you guys

There was nothing not to like. Holiday in the Maldives with the great hosts. Definitely recommend
