Amazing!!! ***** We would highly recommend Madifushi to live an extraordinary adventure in Maldives!!! I must admit that I had concerns before arriving when I read some negative comments but this experience showed us that the best reference is your own experience. EVERYONE worked really hard to make our stay a success. We have travelled a lot and Perfection does not exist in this world but there are destinations where staff, beginning with the doorman to the manager who will give 100% to give their guests the best they can give. From my point of view, this was the closest to a perfect vacation!! 🥰🥰 Am writing this review while we are still at the resort. We leave today 😢 This trip was a dream come true for us. We wanted to live the water villa experience and it was more than what we expected. We stayed in the sunrise villa #965, it has the best amazing view and more shade in the afternoon, perfect for us as the weather is very hot 🥵. We have been treated with lots of care and felt very special right from the beginning when we arrived at the airport. A staff member brought us to the seaplane terminal and did the check in for us then brought us to our waiting lounge. We felt right away in good hands. The seaplane experience is incredible. Greetings arriving at the island was very touching. 👍 Mo!!! Thank you so much for taking such good care of us and for your efficiency, kindness and professionalism 🥰 Thanks to the Administration, en particular the Manager for his human approach towards his guests and GENEROSITY! Cleaning service twice a day was more than enough; towels, bathrobes, slippers, coffee, water ect… we just had everything !! Thank you Bachir and Kamal for all your special attention, you were great!! Other services: thank you Shakhawat !! Thank you Pauline, Deniyal, and Chef, for the amazing service at Fahrenheit restaurant for our delicious 5 course supper: surf and turf !

100 out of 10! 😍 Absolutely perfect holiday and anniversary trip! We've been looking for a quiet and serene resort to enjoy and got exactly that. Our water villa was towards the end of the bridge with a beautiful sunset view. I loved the design! Clean, modern, mostly neutral with some splash of colour. Pool, swings and rocking sunbeds. Everything brand new. 90% privacy, you still can see your neighbors, but only if they are going down the stairs to swim. The rest is blocked by the wall behind the swings and you definitely feel very cozy. We had one complimentary snorkeling trip included and it was great! Beautiful fishes, corals, sharks and dolphins! It's 10-15 min by boat from the hotel. Resort itself doesn't have a house reef, but you still can find some corals and fishes around your villa, just need to swim a bit. There's also stingrays and eagle rays around! Baby sharks are easy to spot at night. Water is amazing! Super warm! Ocean something was more hot than our pool. There's a current, so I'd recommend to get set of fins for easier swimming. You have an options for in villa dining and two main restaurants - Bluefin (buffet concept) and Fahrenheit (fine dining, grill specialty). Villa dining menu is limited, but we was happy with both of the restaurants and also got floating breakfast experience. For a week on the island we didn't get bored with food at all. Buffet menu for breakfast and dinners changes every day and it's really tasty. As well as wonderful grill dishes from Farenheit. Staff is great! Everyone is friendly, warm, polite. Even just passing by people will great you or offer a buggy ride or point out if there's an interesting sea creatures around. I loved surprises from a hotel! We got bubble bath, bed decoration and cake for our anniversary. We was in a good hands of Mo, she'd always reply quickly and never left any request unattended.

Departure lounge. After check-out we still had 50 min before seaplane departure, but the administration building has no aircond. And alternative is only very sad small room with one couch. If they could just notify us that check-out is that quick, we'd rather spend more time at the breakfast area or use it for swimming instead of that tiny room.

From the Male airport to the resort and back, we were carefully provided with all the services and information we needed. We were quite worried, being our first experience so far from home. Room service was provided twice a day, the food was varying every day, a smile on every member of the personnel's face every time we met. The rooms are huge and well equiped, pools cleaned daily by dedicated staff, privacy when you need it, 5 star services when you require them. But the main attraction is the water and its beauty. I've never in my life seen so many species of fish. It was enough to go snorkelling around the villa, but don't miss the free snorkelling session organized by the resort. The journey itself is memorable, but the reef and the life it hosts is beyond our imagination. Turtles, dolphins, stingrays, sharks, octopuses, triggerfish and so many other. At the end of the session we were waited with fresh fruits and cold water. There are so many people I would like to thank for making our stay so memorable: Kingston with his keen eye on detail, Sasha, so helpful and doing her best to fulfill our requests (and believe us, they were many...), Ibby, always there when you need guidance most, Mike, the child of the sea, and of course, the heart and soul of the island, Omar. Thank you for the bottle of wine, it was delicious. And the fact that we were offered another villa to stay between check-out and the seaplane departure, well, that simply turned our vacation into a dream one. Practically we extended it with one more day.. I apologise for not being able to reflect the entire experience in a few words. To put it simply we were on good hands. The small details build the big picture: fresh water in every corner of the island (rooms, boats, gym, you name it), a buggy to pick you up in case you are lazy, the free minibar, fruits in our villa at our arrival, a smile on every personnel' face, services done well, not just to check a box.

It was an excellent overall experience. The villas were specious, modern, and new as shown in the photos. We tried both beach and water villas, we liked the beach villa more. Villa 812 is ideal for privacy. The restaurants were both excellent. Blue Fin had both buffet and a la cart options. Fahrenheit had a la cart option. The manager Omer was very helpful and our supported Mo was excellent.

It is true that food is expensive as mentioned in some angry reviews but this is to be expected in Maldives resorts. To give you perspective, the lunch buffet is ~65 USD and the dinner buffet is around 100 USD. A la cart can range from 80 to 200+ for a couple of people.

Everything I loved everything about it especially the staff , nimsadh made the best of the best drinks and his customer service was the best of the best , I would also like to mention Ahmad he was the kindest and the best when helping us he helped me find my wife’s phone , and I want to thank martini for helping us and being our butler during our honeymoon. The resort is very very clean , customer service 1000/10, food was amazing , drinks vibes was the best this place is a must go. I would have loved to stay longer thank you for having us . I would have loved to stay longer . Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you again I want to also thank kamal for the beautiful customer service and for keeping our room tidy and clean best house keeping staff are soooo friendly . Nothing everything was more than expected, I would have loved to stay longer it truly felt like paradise .

Property was incredibly beautiful, well planned and serene. Water and island were pristine. Views are breathtaking. Staff were exceptionally friendly, accommodating, helpful and inviting. Food was excellent with a wide variety of options. Chef’s were very accommodating to individual preferences. Fun water activities with great staff to guide you. Overwater villas were beautiful with incredible sunrise and sunset views.

From the landing by the seaplane to the reception to getting into our Villa, it was the closest thing to heaven on earth. We loved every bit of hit, and I could hear my wife giggling with excitement for hours. We were assigned a staff as we stepped out of the seaplane. Sacha. She was amazing and so helpful. After the reception, she took us around and showed us the island. Then they dropped us at our Villa. Everything was majestic.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. There was nothing we did not like.

The island is beautiful and very well taken care of. Villas are nice and clean

Restaurants are very limited. In case you don’t want to eat in buffer restaurant everyday (the same place where you have breakfast) your choice is limited to Fahrenheit restaurant.

- we came as strangers and left feeling part of family - unexpected high standard in all regards - no wish left unsatisfied - whole place immaculate - would give a 20 out of 10

Madifushi is absolute paradise! The beach villas are super private, with a nicely sized private pool and beach access where you can enjoy some amazing views at sunset. The beds are super comfy, the bathroom large, and the outdoor shower was one of our favorite features. Everything was absolute perfection, especially the staff members: Jessa, who took care of cleaning twice a day and always made sure to leave us a surprise (such as filling the bathtub with bubbles and flowers or leaving us amazing arrangements of flowers on the bed), Adil the housekeeping manager who made sure to check with us every now and then, to ensure that everything is perfect for our honeymoon, and last but not least, Kate, our personal concierge throughout our stay. Kate took impeccable care of us, booked massages, took care of dinner reservations or book boat trips for us. The entire staff is very caring, friendly and detail oriented. There are 2 restaurants on the island: Fahrenheit and Bluefin. Both of them offer a nice variety of meals and everything was delicious! We are grateful for the experience we had and are looking forward to visiting again! If you are looking for a luxurious Maldives experience, where you can get plenty of privacy and great service, don‘t hesitate to book!
