Rafiq was an amazing and attentive host, who helped us with booking excursions, changing currency and every little thing we needed - he is the best host we have come across. Breakfasts were delicious with variety and big portions. Bed was huge and comfy, room was perfectly air conditioned and shower was lovely and hot. Shared kitchen was a great bonus. Everything has been thought of to make our stay excellent for example beach towels provided, mosquito spray around the communal areas. Location was perfect close to bikini beach and restaurants. The island is beautiful and we felt extremely safe and relaxed. Great value for money and would highly recommend wish we could have stayed longer. Thankyou Rafiq and co.

The guesthhouse îs conveniently located some 150-200 m from Bikini Beach (probably the best beach on Thulusdhoo island) and has numerous restaurants and grocery stores in the vicinity. The roooms were clean and breakfast was amazjng. We could chose between Maldivian, Continental, Pancakes and French Toast. Food was fresh and delicious. It has a cozy yard with tropical plants. The housekeeper Rafiq is very polite and willing to help. He helped us book various trip such as watch the dolphins, watch the turtles, trip to nearby Dhiffushi island and so on.

Insect nets on all bathroom windows would help. However it must be mentioned that Insect repellent sprays are available at the reception desk.

I had an incredible stay at Midsummer Thulusdhoo—easily a 10/10 experience! The guesthouse is spotlessly clean, with a massive, super comfortable bed and a beautiful outdoor bathroom that made every shower feel like a tropical escape. The common areas are cozy and well-designed, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, exactly what I was looking for. The AC and warm water worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh, well-prepared options each morning. A special shoutout to Rafiq, who went above and beyond to make my stay perfect—always attentive, kind, and ready to help with anything I needed. His hospitality truly made a difference. The staff here is very nice. Rafiq attends every customer on his own and he is also a great cook. You should try!! He is really attentive and nice. There are many places to hang clothes so you can wash your swimwear and dry it. They also provide a laundry service. There is a hair dryer in the room and hot water for the shower is available. They always provide drinking water for free. Vicky, the owner also gave me detailed information such as how to get to the speed boat stop, what time I want to take that, etc... Anyway, it was a great time so if I visit this island again, I'll definitely book this hotel!! Thanks a lot!!

Great stay on the island. Both Vicky and Rafq (Rafik) are great hosts. They always answered questions and helped with booking speed boats and made the stay exceptionally good. There was always water and coffee and tea when needed and perfect timing with breakfast. It’s close to the Bikini beach - maybe 3 minutes walk and there’s more food options than if you stay on the beachfront properties. It’s also close to Cokes and Chickens surf spot so you can have your own surf trip here without needing a surf camp specifically. Grocery stores nearby. AC was good and very cold when you wanted it. Super happy I stayed here and hope to be back. A big thanks again to Rafik who was always there on the property to help with anything you need.

Service - Both Vicky & Rafiq are exceptional. While Vicky is very quick at responding & goes out her way to resolve queries and provide info, Rafiq is exceptional at making your stay great. Very gentle and kind. Vicky helped with all intinerary planning, excursion booking, transport, permits, everything. She went out her way to help us get drone permits which often is lengthy process. Rafiq cooks great breakfast, shows you around, recommends places, keeps everythiing in check at your stay right from food, service, timings, contacts, etc. Would be more than willing to be back, loved our stay.

Midsummer is located just only 200 metres far away from the Bikini Beach. The rooms are spacious with very large king-size beds. The air conditioning works perfectly. The host of the house Rafiq was very helpful to us. He prepared delicious breakfasts for us every day. He told us a lot about the area and the possible attractions of the island. Every day he cleaned the rooms and kept the house tidy. He helped us with the boat transfer from the airport, both upon arrival and departure. Without Rafiq's support, our stay would not have been so successful and interesting.

We loved the spaceous bed and the outdoor bathroom. The outside garden is super cosy aswell. Rafiq was a super polite and friendly host. Our favorite breakfast was the local one. We had a good time and would recommend this accomondation.

Only minor things. At certain times you will get eaten alive by mosquitos in the garden outside but they use a lot of insense to protect you. The outdoor bath tub has its best years behind it but we enjoyed our outdoor bathing anyway.

Excellent value for money!! Big room, weel equiped, new mattress and pillow, large bathroom, big sofa. Super clean. The patio is very nice and quiet, full of tropical plants. Rafiq, the manager, and Zoel, the assistant, were friendly and very helpful, and they prepared every morning a full delicious breakfast, every day different!! I cant' wait to come back again!

Well located property in the centre of the village. The rooms are a good size and clean and tidy. As a typical Maldivian house the rooms have no outside windows but this did not bother us. This combined with aircon kept the space cool. We were well looked after by Rafiq and his attention to our needs was impeccable. From ensuring we had fresh towels and sheets to cooking meals and organising excursions - Rafiq was there! The guest house will provide breakfast and for a small additional fee also lunch and dinner too if you want. There is a small outdoor kitchen with a plentiful supply of coffee and tea we could make ourselves. All in all a very good stay which was good value for money.

Nothing - tea and coffee kitchen could do with a refurbish but this is not a problem really.
