The room is very spacious and has a mini-split; the courtyard is lovely, will all of the plants. The restaurant is open from 8am to 10 pm and the food is very good. Music is playing and it was not intrusive. I love the "historical adornments" of the property- the chandeliers, shells around the courtyard, stained glass adornments, fused glass elements within the rooms. The property is very quiet and the staff accommodating; there is a restaurant and a bar. The property is dog friendly, and there is a large parking area out front in which to walk your dog. The staff is warm and helpful - even to the non-Spanish speakers (bring your translator)

The only thing that I didn't like were the few stray dogs inhabiting the property in front of the church next door I took my smaller dog for a walk out front - when those dogs saw us, they started barking and running toward us - I immediately ran back to the hotel, hoping that I would get there before the dogs - I did. I realize that the Halfway Moon has no control over these dogs, but I would like other visitors to be aware.

Enormous room in a surprising Mid-Century Modern-mashup building, with a lovely fountained courtyard, at the outskirts of town. This hotel has everything -- a bar, a restaurant that serves all day (as well as morning coffee), a game room with pool table(s), and a gift shop. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space for luggage, bathrooms spacious, and the huge windows let in plenty of sunlight. Very popular for travelers in town for whale-watching and especially amenable to larger groups.

Stayed here in late February so the weather was still cool, and was surprised that our room had no heat. But rooms came with extra blankets, which did the trick for comfortable sleeping.

I had a tire challenge. They arranged for the repair and handled the entire process for me. Wow. I was treated fairly and not taken advantage of. I do appreciate that. Also the thoughtfulness on every level was sincere, calming,practical, and quality. The grounds have gardens, not mere landscaping. The birds and the quadrangle water fountain are delightful to hear and see. The food was wonderful. It was fresh and quality. The lounge was comfortable and facilitated nice conversations.

I liked everything.

The location is amazing. You don’t have to actually go into the town of Guerrero Negro. It’s located on Highway 1 And they are actually doing a lot of upgrading on the property. Fresh paint, new beds, new bedspreads, mini fridge, etc. What we also like about the hotel is that it has a restaurant and a bar on the property. And the food is delicious. And the price point is good. What’s not so good is the Wi-Fi. But if you go into the restaurant, you have full service. The Halfway Inn is exactly exactly that. Halfway to Cabo from the Tijuana border. Our final destination was Loreto, which is only five hours away from the hotel.

On our way to La Paz we stopped for the night at the Halfway Inn. We were very pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Large, clean room, with ample counter space in the bathroom. Check in was easy and the parking secure. The restaurant was good, we will return next trip back to California. .

The shower in our room didn't drain well. But we met another person staying there whose shower drained properly. So the problem is not global to be location. I am sure it will be fixed next time around.

We. LOVED the big spacious rooms! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We arrived after 10:00 due to a delay caused by road blockage. The staff was kind enough to prepare a simple plate for dinner!

We were very pleased. No complaints!

All was good, nice that we can bring our own K-cups to use in the machine in the room. Beds were comfy.

The cook could have been better. Meat was tough. Mexican meal wasn't that great. Cut veggies were not very appealing, maybe a 7 year old cut them up but they were good.

Classic old school establishment. Very spacious. Excellent restaurant and bar. Even a small gift boutique. Pool tables and a ping pong table in the lobby were unique additions. Parking for anything you have. Very secure and quiet area. A bank ATM close by.

An oasis! This really is THE place to stay when traveling through Baja. The tasteful design makes you feel like you are in a luxury resort at 1/3 the price. The rooms are situated around a well maintained and beautiful courtyard. Actual grass for your furry friend to enjoy. There isn’t much around the property so it’s really nice that they have a restaurant, bar, souvenirs for sale, and even a pool table. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is super sweet and accommodating. Plenty of parking on site. The town is a short drive if you need anything or want to gas up.

No complaints

I only stayed the night and left before breakfast so I did not use all of the facilities but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the check-in/out process was very efficient.
