The hotel is in a walkable and safe location, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are clean enough, quiet, really spacious and have excellent water pressure and hot showers. The rooftop pool (although also dated) is the best part and offers great views, though the windows could use cleaning. The pool and hot tub are heated which was nice, and open late until 10 PM. The gym is limited but functional.

It feels outdated and in need of renovations. When we requested a higher floor we were offered the 8th, only to later learn it’s the lowest floor. The shower leaks with no way to prevent it. They only provide two fresh towels per day. You have to pay extra for coffee in your room. Only one side of the bed has a bedside table/plug. The bed is a spring mattress and not very comfortable. Small upgrades could make a big difference in making this hotel feel more comfortable and modern. Honestly though based off of the roof pool alone I would rebook here.

Location! Fantastic staff! Loved the antique atmosphere that you can feel every spot of interior. Some reviews said it's too old and outdated, but I felt differently. it's a well maintained, well-preserved lovely hotel that you can imagine the thriving times of its business back in the old days. What we loved the most was the endless hot water with high pressure in the shower lol.

Hotel restaurants could be better by having real chefs rather than serving instant prep meals for that price. It's typical that hotels and restaurants are really overpriced in Mexico, considering how much the local people are actually paid daily.

Location

The staff in the reception indicated 30 minutes before our pick up schedule to the taxi driver that we were not in the hotel and that we checked out. From our side we checked out at 12 pm according to hotel policy, we went outside for lunch at 13:30 and the taxi had to picked us up at 15:25, the driver came earlier about 15:05 and the receptionist told the driver we weren’t at the hotel, we arrived 15:15, but the driver left due to comment made by the reception of the hotel, Ending with no transportation to the airport MEX. Reception shall be more careful next time, and not to provide inaccurate information to third parties.

It’s location, city view from top floor (accessible to all guests) are amazing. Pool is nice, heated. All rooms had everything we needed. They also have ice cubes machines outside in the corridor, which is nice. Price is cheaper than similar hotels around. Breakfast was full of choices.

Building is a bit old, and it is felt in all the small details around. However everything works just fine and for us it dis not disturb us in any way. If we cared so much about how new premises are, we could have purchased a more expensive option. Breakfast was slightly expensive in my opinion, for two persons we’ve spent 30 euros.

It was quite convenient in terms of distance to places we wanted to visit. The hotel is nice though dated. It looks that it must have been an amazing place 20 or so years ago. Most staff were really friendly.

Some staff were, not rude, but it would have been nicer to deal with a vending machine. Traffic outside is crazy and the streets around are so cumbersome. Going out and returning were actually stressful. Something I found strange, was that floors seemed to be slanted.

Great location with a pool and jacuzzi. Staff were friendly and helpful, they give fresh bottles of water after every room service too. Wifi is good.

The blankets were thin and not cozy. There is an odd smell in the bathroom. The bus stop outside the hotel doesn’t sell metrobus cards so we had to walk to a different stop to purchase.

Great location, I easy for my fiancé and I to get around wherever we needed to go. We like to walk and had no issue getting to places near. It’s a simple hotel with basic amenities, breakfast was delicious and service was great.

Our room heating system did not work but we made it work. The bathroom shower would constantly leak water onto the rest of the floor. Good thing there is a drain, but I can see how others might find it annoying. The outlets in the room are not near the beds.

The bed and room are very comfortable, good and quiet space, and fast efficient lifts. Great room service too. The reception staff, especially the Concierge staff, are really happy and helpful with everything... I felt very safe in their hands! It's also a great location near Zona Rosa, and walking distance to the parks and historic centre. The pool is lovely, great roof top view, but ....

The pool has hot water and covered from the sun, the sunbeds are in full sun with no shade, there are no cool showers to use before or after swimming (unless go back to your room) and the bar is empty... Cannot get a coffee or drink there and there was building work going on with the thatched covered area in the garden while I was there. Only other queries 🤔's... The room is supplied with a coffee making machine, but no coffee. Other hotels give a bag with coffee, sugar and cream to make coffee with. The password for WiFi changed but nobody told me, until I asked days later .... Hurrumph!!

Absolutely perfect location, very nice staff, room waa big and had all the appliances and necessities. all in all nice place to stay and i would def recommend it.

It could use a renovation in general but thats just my opinion and no way does it change my overall impression. U cant open the windows so the air in the room does get stale, but with AC running its not a major issue.

Location in very safe place and on Main Street . They have taxi drivers that they work with to take you to the airport, bus stop is nearby and it takes you to Chapultepec castle and anthropology museum

I could tell that the sink and toilet were not thoroughly cleaned, the next day, but still clean, I always carry my own Clorox wipes to wipe the sink toilet seat and shower because I don’t trust cleaning crew to do that
