Great location. Good size room and comfortable bed. Nice breakfast on the roof to start the day. Bar is a fun spot to hang with good drinks, and good music, has a very hip warm vibe, and the bartenders are super friendly and helped me with my spanish in between making drinks. All the employees were very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Not the hotels fault but we were on the 5th floor and with no elevator it was kind of a work out after a long day to climb to the room, maybe it's the elevation I don't know or we are just out of shape haha. We were jealous of people staying on the 3rd and 2nd floor. Also, it was not a big deal, but the internet was spotty, and the TV was too hard for us to figure out.

Staff were amazing, awesome customer service and the hotel is very well maintained. I enjoyed the American breakfast in the morning and food/drink offerings at the lounge in general. The location can’t be beat.

Two drawbacks, both around noise - the hotel is in a lovely neighborhood which is great but also means there’s a lot of noise until about 10pm outside. The hotel itself is an older building that echos a lot, so light sleepers will have trouble getting a full night’s rest with people coming and going into the late night and early morning.

The staff and the location are the gem for this hotel! The bed is comfortable.

I do wish the lighting was brighter and some softer seating options. Some rooms have that option. The lounge is also very nice as is the restaurant. The paid for food options are very good. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Be aware that there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms which is not very unusual in Mexico but the construction noise and restaurant/bar noise make it difficult to have windows open for fresh cool air

The staff was so welcoming and friendly. They were very helpful with anything we needed and booked taxis for us to and from the airport.

For someone who has physical ailments, there is no elevator and many stairs. We did not mind. They do have a special elevator for bags, but you need to walk all the stairs if you are staying on the 5th floor. We loved how quaint and cute the hotel was and the neighborhood is one of the best with all the trees and plants.

This property is in an amazing location! The history of the building and character is such a vibe. We were so grateful for this stay and will definitely return!

The rooftop is gorgeous and I thought breakfast was served up here, but that wasn't the case. It wasn't used during our stay which was unfortunate since it's such a gorgeous space. While breakfast is included, it left a lot to be desired.

The location was great, the included breakfast was good but it could have more options. Very nice welcome cocktail. I was arriving late and the manager made accommodations for a staff member to check me in. They were great in this respect. Also if you arrive late like me knock on the door (there's no bell, or big hotel sign). I was worried about the noise level but I had a pleasant week there. I like the restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

Bold choices in the decor. I am not particularly keen on the peach/rose tones. Also, some people have commented on the lighting fixtures. The lamp on top of the bed is oversized and badly placed, the light fixtures in the kitchen and the bathroom are bad choices to be honest, it doesn't create warmth and relax. However don't let this deter you from visiting the hotel. These are minor things.

Exceptionally sized rooms (we had the Ocio Suites), including dining and living spaces. We came for a girls trip with 3 in each room, and we felt that we had more than enough space to be comfortable. Beautiful design and very clean. Great location on Parque Mexico. Breakfast included was great.

The staff were unclear about simple hotel info, like check-out time, for instance.

Nice hotel with a lot of charm and character. Really liked the retro meets art deco interiors. Big comfy beds and great location. Staff were all very nice.

The bar (which is usually empty) should consider lowering the music volume. This is a an old building with no soundproofing. So when the bar plays loud music, the bass penetrates through the floor boards to all the rooms above, hence making it difficult to sleep. Don’t book if a light sleeper.

The Hotel San Fernando was overall an excellent place to stay. We enjoyed the daily free breakfast on the terrace and Memo was extremely kind, welcoming and accommodating. We had delicious drinks at the downstairs bar and the location is perfect for strolling along the tree lined streets.

Overall the hotel is a little pricey but not to the point where it did not feel worth it. There is no air conditioning, which I imagine would be a problem in the warmer months but in late September even on the 5th floor we did not overheat. Lastly, there was a carafe of water left on the desk in the room each day for us after the housekeeper came. Ultimately, we were charged for the carafe of water each day upon check-out, which felt like we were getting taken advantage of a little bit- no one mentioned a charge for this upfront.

Great location, good room size, nice deco, loved the room fragrance.

Breakfast was really not good (took 30 minutes to arrive and when it did I couldn't eat the salmon on the bagel because it had gone off). No commercial gesture made on the bill...
