For such a centrally-located hotel with good facilities and a good restaurant, it was surprisingly priced very reasonably. The room was a good size with 2 double beds. We slept very well. The breakfast was generous, they give you a choice of 5 (from pancakes to omelettes to chilaquiles). We had dinner at the restaurant when we arrived and it was good. From the hotel it was easy to walk to the churches we wanted to visit, the zocalo, the palafox library, the Mercado el Parian. The center of Puebla is very compact and walkable.

Our window opened into a covered public space in the hotel and some guests were talking loudly until late. Not a very big deal as they eventually stopped and went away.

Beds were very very hard. Too hard. So hard they put my limbs to sleep at night. Not comfortable beds, We were also not told the breakfast buffet was across the street in another location until the second night we were there...so the breakfast on the first day was in that little restaurant and very limited--the main reason we booked at Gamma was for the location and the breakfast buffet.

We could have been told upon check-in that the breakfast buffet was across the street in a different location. I have to say it was a bit annoying to be given a little paper ticket upon parking my car below the hotel, and have to keep track of that ticket for our entire stay. I ultimately lost the little paper ticket, so I had to pay extra to get my car from the parking garage...this left our group feeling annoyed upon departure.

Great location, friendly staff on the reception, comfy bed, spacious bathroom with a good water pressure in the shower

The room has no window and no light near the table area. There is a marble floor and a metal chair which makes a huge noise when you move it. They issue vouchers for breakfasts in the attached restaurant, where no one speaks English, so they bring you a very small portion and yet offer you additional things without explaining that they are for additional charges.

Besides being a 10 min walk to zocalo, the immediate neighborhood was great with lots to do and see within 2 blocks in any direction.

We disliked nothing. Some reviews complain about small bathrooms which is the case but everything was clean and functional.

The hotel is in an ideal location. The room was cleaned every single day of my stay and the staff were very helpful. I had dinner twice in the restaurant and the food was excellent and the service of a very high standard. Checking in and out was simple. The breakfast was ok.

A slightly better choice for breakfast and also as a solo traveller I did find in the mornings I would be served and then forgotten for those tables who had more. Also felt that I was placed at a table in the window which while I enjoyed people watching it did mean I could be overlooked.

Central location. Walkable to tourist attractions and restaurants. Safe neighborhood. Clean room.

Quite noisy room. I could hear everything going on outside my room, especially when people were talking and kids were running outside the hallway. No other window besides the one facing the hallway. Not all receptionists speak English, despite the fact that the hotel is in the middle of a tourist area.

Location, large rooms, nice staff

Futon was almost impossible to sleep on, uncomfortable, no fitted sheet for it, hard. No menus in restaurant. I asked for one and was told they didn’t have one and got up and went somewhere else.

Location is good. Staff is nice. Rooms are adequate. Restaurant is decent. Overall a good place to stay. You don’t run into many other gringos here.

It is starting to show some wear. Some furniture needs replacing. Some corners could use brisker cleaning. Not all staff is on the same page.

The location is superb, right in the historic center. Everything is walking distance. The hotel staff and restaurant everything is very nice.

The room had no windows outside, only intothe inner corridor. No gym, no pool.

Location is great, staff was very responsive, room was spotless, bedding comfortable, shower was hot immediately.

Bath is very small but totally acceptable for the price.
