Breakfast was varied and fresh. They make fresh tortillas.

The parking is two blocks away from the hotel and it's difficult to park right in front of the place to make the check in.

It was spotless and spacious, great staff valet parking was amazing. Breakfast was nice.

Central location

As implied by the name, the hotel is extremely central to the bustling trading centre of this city. One of the waiters was attentive at breakfast on the first morning; his presumed supervisor seemed to keep him away from me on the second. All areas of the hotel, including my room, were extremely clean. Excellent wifi.

The main dislike is simply value for money. The hotel was at least 40%, and arguably considerably more, more expensive than equivalent hotel rooms in similar cities over the past five weeks. The tariff did include breakfast, though the product only minimally offset the overpricing. At check-in, there was some consultation about the start time for breakfast. I was told 8am; however, when I arrived at that time, the service had clearly been in swing for, say, half an hour, as the restaurant was full of the tour group patrons whose bus kept its engines running outside my room at various times. The food quality was very average. On the second day, the tour group gone, there was no buffet. I seemed to get very minimal product compared to guests around me, effectively eating a breakfast that would have cost next to nothing had I purchased it a similar restaurant outside the hotel. The hotel has noise issues: the windows provide very minimal insulation from street noise, while there is a loud mechanical noise (audible in the room and corridor) that runs for about ten minutes at intervals both day and night.

Price I paid at reception was more than price quoted on booking.com despite booking it on booking.com and it saying the price was inclusive of all fees, TV HDMI didn't work and reception said they would find us a solution and never called us back, Plug to the hairdryer in bathroom was melted and unsafe so wife had to sleep with wet hair, Coffee machine in room broken, Entry card for door deactivated itself twice, We chose this hotel because we searched for hotels with baths on booking.com and guess what. No baths HOWEVER even though I paid over 900 pesos for a terrible hotel atleast there was free breakfast so I woke up and ordered an "American breakfast".... this is what I got. Two fried eggs and a pile of cold over salted beans. Bon appetite
