Great location. The hotel is not considered beach front but we thought it was. You push the gate and you are on the beach. They have lots of great sitting areas, lounge chairs and a very nice pool too. We were in the master suite, which is facing the ocean. We could hear the waves crashing and we loved that. The other couple friends of ours stayed on the side of the house and their junior suite was truly magnificent. They had to walk down along the building to get to the beach. I didn't see the other two units. This property only has 4 rooms. It's very quiet, perfect for couples. Above all the service provided by Alejandro and Carmen is excellent. They are both professional and very personable. They do everything. Alejandro took us down to the area in Celestun where you hire a boat. Carmen cooks fresh breakfast every morning. I wish I could take them home! This was a perfect weekend. I highly recommended this hotel.

The furniture in master suite. It's made of stone and cannot be used. Big high step to get up onto the part where the bedroom is. Okay for young limber people.

Super nice, tranquil spot with fantastically friendly staff. Pool was refreshing. Room was spacious with lovely decoration, and the towels felt luxurious. Enjoyed the walk to and from town. Had a very relaxing few days.

It would have been dandy if the windows in the bedroom could be opened so as to let fresh air through the unit. Also, in the bedroom there was an ongoing noise (from a pump or compressor maybe), that we had no control of, so even if the location was quiet, the room was less so. Other than that, all was good 😊

Alejandro and Carmen were very welcoming and extremely helpful during our stay. Alejandro helped us set up a mangrove and flamingo sunrise tour with an English speaking guide. The property itself was beautiful! And they left a six pack in our fridge gratis for my husband's birthday.

There are mosquitoes, but there isn't anything they could have done about that. Everything they had control over was wonderful.

Nothing. Hurricane Milton devastated Celestún last October, and there is still evidence of that in the form of debris, dead and damaged plant material, etc. I hesitate to say anything about the lack of decent restaurants and amenities when the people are really just getting their heads above water. Literally.

Unfortunately, it was very windy when we were there in November nevertheless we really appreciated to have the sea and beach for ourselves and had a swim each day. The swimming pool and garden are also very nice to spend some quality and relax time. It’s not so far from the centre and we walked each evening to go to the restaurants (~15mins by the beach)

The breakfast is good and varied but it’s a pity a lot of the stuff are bought in plastic packaging.

Friendly couple running the small place. Good advice given regarding local highlights. They keep the place in good condition.

Selection of restaurants in Celestun is very limited and has early closing hours.

We had a large room - a bedroom and a living room. We were right at the beach and there was a pool too. It was very quiet there and we had plenty of hot water.

Wi-Fi only worked in the bedroom, not in the living room. Breakfast was OK. I kinda liked making my own coffee but would have liked some real milk to go with it.

Excellent, very comfortable and well furnished junior suite. Good breakfast and facilities incluing pool.

Not a fault of the owner at all - but flies at sunset were very fast off the mark and hungry. Our fault, we'd not used insect repellent as we'd been swimnming and were watching the fantastic sun set when they struck!
