We recently had the pleasure of staying at the brilliant Lixus Beach Resort, and we can not speak highly enough of our experience. From the moment I arrived with my family, the hospitality of the staff was outstanding, and every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. The food at the resort was excellent, with a diverse range of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. We would like to extend a special thanks to Chef cuisine, Mr Rajia Hasan, for his exceptional culinary skills and dedication to providing such high-quality meals. Additionally, we would like to express our gratitude to the General Director Mr Bakkali Abdallah for his warm hospitality and ensuring that everything was perfect throughout our stay. His commitment to guest satisfaction was evident and greatly appreciated. The animation team was fantastic, the DJ, Sultan, Ikram, Khalid, James, etc...., making every day enjoyable and entertaining. We are especially thankful for their efforts to engage all guests and create a lively and fun atmosphere. Lastly, we want to commend the staff by the pool, particularly Ilyas, for his diligence in maintaining a clean and pleasant environment, his hard work in ensuring that all litter was promptly picked up did not go unnoticed and contributed significantly to our overall experience. Thank you to everyone at Lixus Beach Resort for making our stay truly memorable. We look forward to returning next year to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary.

We hesitated a lot upon booking, the overall rating was low according to our standards, however we were nicely surprised when checking in. The room was newly refurbished, beds were comfortable, and the staff was really nice and helpful. The animation team was great Aswell and the view on the ocean is exceptional!, i would definitely come back again.

Thinking maybe about having more variety of food during lunch and Dinner. There was no room service at the hotel which should be a must for 4 Stars+ hotels. Pay attention to if driving to the hotel for the first time using Waze, it will take you through an overland, there is another way to the hotel via the Lixus bay road, longer but safer.

What we liked best as a young family was the hygiene, comfort and the incredibly friendly staff. Every staff member was very helpful and enthusiastic. The animation team entertained the guests very well. There is a huge buffet with a wide variety of dishes.

The wellness is not included in the price, which is a pity. There is also no schedule available on which the program and the facilities of the hotel are indicated. Such as the start of the buffet and the activities of the animation team. This would have been handy, since we always had to walk to the reception to inquire about this. But few of the staff speak English. It is swarming with mosquitoes, be prepared for this and buy products for this before you go outside in the evening!

Staff was extremely friendly. Hotel location was away from urban areas. Room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. Pool was great as was the hotel location close by the beach. Food was good with many different choices on offer. Outside areas were clean with gardens well kept. Large balcony with a fantastic view. Plenty of secure parking available within the hotel premises. Checking out was simple and quick.

Check in was a little bit on the slow side. Hotel could use a bit of a make over as it’s looking a bit tired in places. As with most resorts they have shows for the kids, poolside and in the early evening, after which the late show begins. This results in constant loud music throughout the day until midnight, but it’s to be expected in a resort especially if you choose a room facing the pool! The air conditioning in my room was either not working or defective, but I just left the door on the balcony open.

Stay one night for a family event in the city nearby. Amazing seaside location. Easy access to a large beach for morning walk. The breakfast had everything you would want to try in Morocco. Very kind and professional staff, particularly Hanane in the front desk. Highly recommended

The hotel location, building, the pool and the room were beautiful. The staff at the reception and at the restaurant were excellent. They were very polite, hospitable and helpful. Can’t praise them and thank them enough.

I didn’t like the long stairs and the approach to the beach. It didn’t look welcoming. The access should have a lift and an inviting path to the beach

We were automatically upgraded to a superior room. It was incredibly spacious with a good balcony with table and chairs. Great views. We finally discovered stairs directly to the beach. Coffee selection was good.

Limited drinks offering. Fresh fruit juices and a choice of alcohol drinks warranted.

I Liked the staff's friendliness, both at checkin and checkout (Sara, Tarek and Hanane) made a difference to our stay. We shall definitely retun back for future visits. Keep it up!

The room has been renovated and was spacious and clean. However, the GPS showed us a difficult track to the hotel while on the other hand, not far away there is a good road. Car is essential as the hotel is about 10 min from city centre. Overall, the hotel is in good value and front position to the ocean.

Internet connectivity in the room, some parts needs refurbishing (eg gym has some equipment but could do with an update). Hotel accessible by car/taxi and no nearby shops.
