Our room was excellently located right on the ocean. The restaurant's food was always well prepared and delicious, albeit a bit pricey, but you get your money's worth. We thoroughly enjoyed the overall offering of the hotel, including the private beach and the friendly and professional service.

The shower in the bath has a glass screen which is quite leaky. This causes the bathroom floor to be quite wet after a shower. Also, our particular room's interior is quite dated, including the bathroom. We saw some of the other rooms have been renovated and I'm sure this room will also be updated at some stage.

We stayed at Luderitz for just one night in order to visit Kolmanskop (ghost town). Kolmanskop Is a place no-one visiting Namibia should miss. Nest Hotel is located in a serene spot overlooking Atlantic Ocean. The views were great and the hotel stuff was really helpful and polite.

The hotel itself is an old structure, some rooms are renovated but we weren't lucky, we got to stay in a room with a really old school bathroom and a bedroom poorly decorated.

We had rooms facing the cold and fresh Atlantic Ocean with tides, which is really eye-relaxing after driving through dried deserts. Especially with the full moon mirroring at the water it is georgeous. The sound from the ocean is the perfect white noise for your Tinnitus, if you have one. The hotel is located slightly outside the city centre and is therefor very quiet. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with information and booking of activites. Breakfast we had at the hotel and could not try all possible options, since simply too much is on offer for breakfast. We ate out for dinner, at the Portuguese Fisherman (yummy seafood and house wine). Since Lüderitz is an interesting, historical loaded place with Shark Island's rather grimm history, short walking distances and Kolmanskop not too far off, we should have stayed another night. Will do so next time. Recommendation: definitely; Value for money: good

Reception informed that there is lack of water in the town we should shower early afternoon or late in the night. Why does the hotel not have a water reservoir or a water desalination unit?

The reception was friendly and informative. The food served at the restaurant is top-class, and highly recommended. Loved the ocean view from our room. The beds were comfortable. The goodnight note on your pillow is a nice touch - liked it.

The service at the restaurant! During our stay, there was one waitress who was friendly, the other staff made you feel like they doing you a favour by serving you. If the food didn't make up for the lack of service/ sour faces I would have suggested going elsewhere. The pillows are soft, you should look into replacing them.

The location is right next to the sea. Everything is clean and tidy.

I don’t know whether this problem only bothers our 2nd floor, which is that if you turn on the light&ventilator in the bathroom, the smell from the kitchen will fill the room and it’s very unpleasant. Besides, the light and ventilator are controlled by one switch. And during the dinner on New Year’s Day, the waitresses were not so friendly. They might be understaffed on that day while some left for holiday.

Wonderful hotel, location was super convenient and they met all of our expectations. Dinner was fantastic and the breakfast buffet had everything imaginable. Room was extremely quiet and had a great view of the bay. Even with the waves breaking outside, with the sliding door closed you couldn't hear a thing. Great place to stay in Lüderitz.

This is the best hotel in Luderitz located at one end of the town. It is very well signposted. I enjoyed my meals at the restaurant and there was a very pleasant verandah overlooking a jetty for guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful with sightseeing tips and information about the region. The rooms were quiet and the beds were very comfortable. There was also a nice view of the harbor.

The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday night as it was the only one open on a public holiday. Some guests waited a long time for their meals. It wasn't as busy the following night.

Nice and cozy room with direct sea-view, comfortable bed, very good food in the restaurant (room-service option!), TV with at least one English movie channel, friendly and helpful staff (especially Paulus!), pool and sauna available, private beach right in front of the hotel, fridge in the room, good breakfast!

The balcony was more a French balcony (not a chance to put out even one chair), too bright lights, no small light sources, no light above the mirror in the bathroom, no full-body mirror, double-bed consists out of two separate small mattresses instead of one kingsize mattress...

The hotel is located on the waterfront with beautiful sea views. We had dinner at both restaurants on offer and the food was excellent in both cases. Breakfast was buffet type with excellent fresh breads and other bakes and offered hot meals as well. The location is away from the city noise and provided us with an excellent stay.
