- The owner was very friendly and nice - The dinner is incredible. The atmosphere, the food, everything is perfect. - Own water hole with impalas, springboks and elenantilope - Hiking trails on lodge territory - Very cute and friendly dogs

- If you book a double room, you get a twin but the beds are pushed together. I don't like it. - The rooms are in small cottages and every cottage contains 2 rooms. You can hear basically everything from the other room. We only spent 1 night having a neighbour but it had some kind of dormitory vibes. I could even hear when the lady was whispering in the other room! - It's not really negative, because you are in the desert however please be aware that there is no unlimited hot water for the evening shower! You have to be quick.

Very beautiful! Gardens, rooms, food, artful decoration, attentive service, everything was really lovely and comfortable.

It was a very long drive in from the road, that was unexpected. It's something to consider if you are commuting back and forth to Etosha. Also, for me as an American/European who works with Namibian colleagues on projects here, I rarely stay at places like this that are so out of reach for most local Namibians, and seem to be solely intended for European tourists. There are other places that manage to be very comfortable while also welcoming locals, and I try to priortize those. But this is purely my personal values/taste, and does not reflect on the service here, which was excellent.

After a long drive it was good to be greeted by the owner of the lodge and her dogs, who were so friendly. The food was excellent, and it was nice to be offered afternoon tea and cake. The owner and all guests ate together, which provided a great opportunity to share experiences of our travels. We chose to do do the night safari (after dinner) and this was a truly wonderful experience - seeing barn owls flying was amazing. All the staff were helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome.

High level lodge close to Tsumeb (don't miss the museums and Sonja's kitchen) and Otavi (miss it). Staff and owners nice and professional. Very nice and comfortable 2 person huts, family rooms less posh but spacious and clean. Owner flexible when we asked for a switch (not because of something was bad). Excellent food.

Almost nothing. It was just a bit too professional.

This is a magical place! We came across it by coincidence on our way south from Etosha. Getting to the lodge after sunset was already exciting, driving along the private road for several kilometers meeting all kinds of animals on the way. The lodge is set within beautiful nature and nothing else! Sitting by the fire, enjoying delicious dinner and watching the animals make their way to the small water whole was truly amazing. Carla has developed a beautiful place that we hope to visit again soon!

Staying at Ohanje lodge is always a pleasure. Magnificently located, in an ideal setting, the rooms are very comfortable and located in a superb garden. There are so many opportunities for walks around the farm it's a pleasure to stay there for a few days. And in addition to the exceptional kindness of everyone here, I must not forget the excellent meals that are served in the evening in the garden in front of the house. A dream stage!

Really nice lodge with a superb vibe to it. Dinner by the fire was great! The porch overlooking the waterhole was a nice place to spend an afternoon. The gate guard was our favourite! Loved his enthusiasm! The rooms were all well maintained and very comfortable. A very cute place indeed!

Nothing ;)

The game and birds moving between the chalets. Host most helpful. Food very tasty and self bushwalk option was lovely . Our chalet was spacious and had Selfcateting option although we opted for the delicious lodge dinner.

From the moment we got out of our vehicle, the friendly, helpful staff made us feel right at home. The freshly prepared dinner was incredibly delicious. During meals, or whenever we sat in the lounging area, we could see game grazing in the surrounding veld.
