Soft comfy bed, excellent location, good breakfast. The breakfast was available before the time given, which we were thankful for as we had to go early. Once the room was warm it was very comfortable.

When we arrived, there was absolutely no heating in our room, we had to keep our jackets on for quite a while to stay warm and then quickly get under the covers. We maxed the radiators and floor heating and during the night it warmed up so we were fine for the rest of our stay. The breakfast was good in terms of options, but it was pretty clear that the same sad slices of cheese (and vegs) were out all three mornings as they were getting very dry, as was the bread. All in all we were still happy though, and the mini croissant options were super.

Very friendly personnel, excellent restaurant. My small double room was fine for me. The pool was a lovely bonus for an early morning swim. Good breakfast, both continental and eggs/bacon. I especially loved the hot plate where I could fry an egg freshly. Ideal location on the outskirts of town.

The car park may be a little small if the hotel is fully booked.

I was upgraded, perhaps because the receptionist took pity on a cyclist. An unexpected superior establishment in a rather small town.

The buffet area in the splendid breakfast room was underlit, a frequent omission by hotel designers.

Apparently we booked a room in the hotel that does not exist. However, this problem was solved by the receptionist.
