Everything!!! This hotel was absolutely amazing. I do not even know where to begin. First, the staff were amazing! we had a super late checkin (12:30am) and I was honestly worried. The security guard was waiting for our group to let us in and we were able to go straight to our room and checkin the next day. So above and beyond! Second, the room was perfect. The A/C was so good and there were so many hooks and counters for us to really spread out in the room. We had the King suite and it had its own porch with a hammock facing the ocean. So relaxing. The shower was not heated, but it was not necessary. The water was a perfect temperature, not hot and not cold. I took six showers over two days. Trust me, it felt really good. Third: Breakfast- Wow!!! There were three included options and all three were super delicious and made fresh for you. The service was so great. The property host was so nice and really made our stay that much better. Fourth: Location - We were ON the beach. Literally. We walked right there. And they had a rinsing station to get all the sand off when you got back. Thank you for an amazing, relaxing stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Having to unlock and lock the gate to the beach. I understand the need for being secure though. Maybe an easier gate to open/close would help. The waves were so STRONG. So be careful. We tried to boogie board and it literally destroyed the board into pieces. The wonderful host did warn us though. So, make sure you listen to her when she says the waves are strong.

Breakfast was really good. Excellent pancakes light and fluffy...I asked for fruit as an an extra which was no trouble for the chef. We met the owners who couldnt have been more helpful, accommodating and friendly.

Everything was wonderful, friendly staff, great food as we are a light dinner there too. Beautiful setting on the beach.

A lovely relaxing and cozy boutique hotel. Very friendly owners. Lots of sunbeds and space around the pool and a lovely pool bar.

There was no safe in the room. This would be a good addition, as most places in Las Pinetas accept cash only, so you had to carry a lot around with you.

The property is quiet and personal, there is a nicely kept pool with ample sitting space to relax. The food was delicious with a nice menu for such a small, boutique hotel. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was good with fantastic Twin Engine coffee. The new owners were available to chat and I wish them well on their new venture. Can‘t wait to see all they do with this lovely property.

Water pressure in the shower was a little low. A coverlet on the bed would be nice.

Overall, the hotel is very nice and prior to the electricity issue, we had planned on returning.

This hotel lost electricity for close to 12 hours. My husband and I (plus relatives in a second room) spent the entire night with no AC, no fan, no flashlights/candles, and no access to our CPAP machines. We couldn’t even open the windows as they had no screens and there were a lot of mosquitoes. There were adjacent hotels that were using generators during this time. The hotel only gave us a $20 food credit. They should have credited us the entire night or at least part of it for a restless night!
