The location and views are stunning. The location is the perfect way to relax and reset after a long drive. The cabin are clean and cozy. That also includes the bed, which allows a good night's sleep. You can tell that the cabins and facilities are well maintained and very hygienic. The food both dinner and breakfast were good too. We recommend the fish dishes as it was simple, fresh and delicious. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Overall a perfect stay and we would have stayed longer if we could.

Great location, so beautiful to wake up next to the river. Beds are comfortable. We had a two sleepover on our way from Oslo to Arctic circle.The food in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast as well. My husband enjoyed the salmon. I don’t eat meat and fish but they offered me a mushroom soup, baked potatoes and some salad. 😋

There is a rail track passing there and train os passing I believe one time late in the evening and one time early in the morning. This was not a problem for us, but for everyone else to consider.

I booked a hotel not far from this, but found it had been shut for a few years. Namsentunet were able to take my booking at very short notice or I was sleeping in the car that night, this area was the coldest I saw on my trip at -9c, I expected colder for February. The owners were chatty, as Nords go. Its a hunting lodge and many of the local catches are stuffed in the restaurant as is quite the fashion in the region, and this gave me my only chance to see a lynx.

But the room was too warm for us, the owner welcomed this comment as underfloor heating and ground pumps were new this year. There was no kettle but they supplied me with boiling water for my coffee pot. There is a train line overhead, and I did hear two but they didnt bother me. Their shower traps may have been empty as it smelled on arrival, its a bit of a problem in Sweden and Norway, the humidity is so low water evaporates fast opening up airways to sewers, but it did clear after I ran the shower and taps for a minute

Very pretty little group of cottages and rooms. Pretty dining/breakfast area. Nice staff. We hoping for a cabin with a deck but our room did have a lovely shared room with a great deck overlooking the river. Dinner choices were salmon, reindeer, elk and moose, which was interesting. Lovely breakfast buffet. Room was quite small but pretty with a private bath. Nice place to relax and I’m sure it’s great if you like to fish. The train tracks go directly over the property, which is interesting.

The area around is beautiful and the rooms are really nice. The people working here are also really nice, 10/10 for hospitality.

It is an hours walk away from the town, so unless you have a car or order a cab it could get a bit sketchy, as there are no sidewalks along the road. The road is also rather busy, so if you have an open window it could get annoying during the evening and night, as a lot of trucks drive by.

Simple and very clean, very friendly check-in. We had a small bedroom with a small shared bathroom. For fishermen a great spot because you have a big kitchen being shared with some others. Very good breakfast.

The room was very small and low. The train is very close and load but there are only 2 during the night.

Absolutely beautiful location next to a river. The onsite restaurant offered tasty food and good wine. Staff throughout were lovely. Room definitely had a fabulous view, was wonderfully quiet and parking was easy.

Next to the (occasionally used ) railway/motorway but was still amazingly quiet.

The breakfast served inside a viking boat was amazing!!! Lot, various, very good food. I enjoyed their breakfast a lot. We were driving far away and arrived after the check in --- Yana has been very kind in allowing us self checking in

Very nice stay on nice location next to the river. Friendly staff. Great dinner with fresh salmon. Recommended. Breakfast ok. Comfortable beds. Will come back.

Rooms we had chosen were a little small. Next time we choose the bigger apartments.

Amazing place. Comfortable, clean and beautiful. Dinner was delicious. Well located with river on the back. Loved the hear the sound of the river from the room. Relaxing.
