This was the highlight of my entire journey through the north – a truly exceptional hotel in every aspect. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and had a warmth that contrasted beautifully with the snowy Arctic landscape outside. The name "The View" is no coincidence – the panorama from the windows is breathtaking. Although the restaurant at the hotel was closed in the evening, the staff had an agreement with a restaurant in town offering a 10% discount – a thoughtful and convenient touch. The dinner I had there was nothing short of exquisite: a creamy seafood soup and fresh local catch of the day – truly some of the best food I enjoyed in Norway. Breakfast the next morning? Absolutely the best I had on the whole trip. Fresh, generous, and served in a room flooded with morning light and framed by views of snow-covered mountains. The town of Honningsvåg itself is charming, with its working harbour, fishing boats, and colourful houses set against the stark white hillside. It felt like stepping into a painting.

Nothing significant – I would only recommend checking if the restaurant is open in the evening in advance. But even that was no issue thanks to the thoughtful solution provided.

The location was a perfect base for visiting the Nordkapp. We went during the off season, and the hotel staff was very helpful in checking out the road situation to the Nordkapp. Gabriela at reception was very accommodating. I forgot the name of the guy when we checked out, but he was also generous of his time. The room had sufficient space, and we liked the bathroom because it had a full door, so water does not spill into the rest of the floor. The hotel had other services too if you want to go into the town, which was very convenient. I wish we stayed longer so we could have explored more of Honningsvag too!

The best hotel experience! Very cozy modern hotel with amazing views. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean with an excellent shower. The breakfast was fresh, delicious and there was lots to choose from. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! They provided us transportation between Honningsvåg center and the hotel and also recommendations for things to do. Although there was some renovation work in the Spa, we could still to use the excellent sauna. Wi-fi worked very well. To sum up, we must return!

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed around the world. And all the credit goes to the team and how they run the place. Rooms are comfortable, well equipped, as you see in the pictures, nothing is worn out. Coffee, tea and drinks available during the whole day, tasty and well prepared breakfast. We visited and got stuck due to weather, super flexible with the checkout times and the availability of information from the state road service. Thank you all for a very relaxed and beautiful stay in Honningsvag, we will for sure return once in the neighbourhood

Amazing and very modern hotel, everything was clean and super comfy (we went in Dec/Jan and it was hot inside). The staff were amazing - super helpful people, always there with a recommendation of what to do, when to look for northern lights, etc. The food in the restaurant was delicious - both breakfasts and dinners. We also used spa area - amazing sauna and possibility to go outside for the dip in the jaccuzi.

Things to improve - maybe worth adding instructions in the sauna on how to properly use it (step by step) for people that are new to this (when we went there were guests that were all the time entering in boots and winter jackets and shouting very loud - no possibility to relax). Also could be good to include there some very quiet and relaxing spa music :) Restaurant - the food was delicious but available only during breakfast and in the evening. Could be good to have the opportunity to order lunch etc.

The breakfast was excellent. We startet with a la Carte (due to low number of guests) and it changed to buffet breakfast later. Both versions had excellent quality and the portions were more than enough. The staff ist doing really the best in order to satisfy the guests. Especially the wonderful Japanese lady at the check-in counter was super friendly, she fulfilled every wish we were asking. Absolutely amazing.

This is a new, modern design hotel in Honningsvag. The view is excellent because it is on top of a hill. I could enjoy a nice breakfast while looking out at the sea. Also, the view from the rooftop terrace is great. Stylish room key card design. Ample free on-site parking space. All the staff were friendly and gave me some travel tips and advice. It's highly recommended for all travelers visiting Nordkapp.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and quite modern and very well maintained. Staff are excellent. Wifi is fast, strong and reliable. Parking is excellent and free. Nordkapp is an easy 30 minute drive away and it and the northern fishing villages are worth the drive. The hotel rooms are a reasonable size. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom works well and the shower is a good size and excellent shower screen. The curtains do a reasonable job of darkening the room from the midnight sun but are not blackout. Dinner in the restaurant is good but very expensive.

Breakfast could use a lot more fresh fruits. We were in a back downstairs room which seemed more like a bunker but at least it was a bit dark during the midnight summer sunshine. The room could use a desk but we had access to the dining area to use the laptop with plenty of power points. As we were leaving it seems like they were adding some fold down tables to some of the rooms. The wardrobes were a little small but adequate for our 3 night stay.

The beds were comfortable, breakfast was great, the staff very nice (when we arrived we were advised to go to Nordkapp at this moment since there were a storm the next day, and they checked with us when it will be safe to get out of the island ; we also had some chocolates since we leave Christmas' Eve day), it was possible to charge our EV car in front of the hotel

Nothing to say except that we arrived at night and left before the light came out so we couldn't see The View from the hotel

We loved everything about this place. The staff was outstanding, attentive and very helpful. They advised us about the best things to do around the area and even upgraded our room at no extra cost. We felt very welcomed. The hotel is modern, very clean and the room was spacious with really comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast and dinner. I totally recommend this place.
