I liked absolutely every single thing: the environment full of nature and water, the cozy room, the wooden hall, the outdoor terraces with astonishing views, the restaurant, and of course the Spa area with floating saunas and jacuzzi. Everything is carefully chosen for Visitors' well-being. It was a pleasure to be here!

Something I don't like is the mattress, but it is a common feature to Norway as a country in general. I have been in several hotels and all of the mattresses are too soft that you sink on them and either my husband and I end up with a backache.

Love the interiors and the food was amazing! Great breakfast with my first iPad juice and coffee (never seen it before, súper high tech). The dinner was delicious and the staff (especially the Argentinian ones) were wonderful!

Couldn’t get the air on to work after having switched it off so the night was very hot, but the hotel offered free lunch as compensation

Really nice hotel in the mountains well located for some beautiful hikes in summer. Breakfast was amazing.

Rooms are quite small and and curtains very light (not ideal in summer when sun rises at 4am). Pool and Sauna area quite old. Sauna houses come with a hourly fee.

Everything was absolutely perfect – starting from the room and the surroundings of the hotel to the activities available on site. It’s a fantastic place to stay with children. Highly recommended for a relaxing and fun family getaway!

This was our second visit to Gaustablikk and we love it very much, very warm, welcoming and homely.

The pool area is a little dated and could probably do with an upgrade/ sauna is in the changing room so we cannot go in as a family

The best hotel i´ve ever stayed in. Very cosy. We had a great dining experience at the restaturant. Very large balcony with a beatiful view. We also rented a sauna on the lake. I recommend!

Loved the personnel by the restaurant. Professional and kind, it was a pleasure!

The view from the room was to the parking lot. Also you had to request a key to go to the swimming pool area.

Excellent breakfast, excellent dinner, satisfactory choice of beers at the bar, very nice room with comfortable beds, lovely surroundings, plenty of parking space.

Our only regret was the weather because it rained the whole time 🙁

It was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Amazing breakfast. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers maximum comfort. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much.

The resort was absolutely beautiful! The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and nice, the view was gorgeous, and there was a full spread at breakfast. There was plenty of parking available. I would highly recommend staying here!
