This is a really nice hotel with kindly and helpful staff. My single room (202) was of good size, as was the en-suite, I chose a room with a balcony which opened up the room and gave me a lovely outlook and view. The SMART TV is always appreciated as I can access and watch Netflix in my own language - as a solo traveller this is always appreciated as it provides a decent night's entertainment. Wi-fi signal was good for internet access. The breakfast choice was good with very tasty fresh food, bread and coffee...

Very good food. SInce it is the only place in town to eat, we had lunch, dinner and breakfast here and each time was excellent. Our room, including the bathroom was large and very quiet. It is in a beautiful location that was just perfect to break up our drive between Stavanger and Oslo.

The staff was very efficient but not overly welcoming or informative.

The restaurant is really good. We had a lovely dinner with local norwegian cuisine there. That was the best part!

We had a family room for 5 people, there have been 3 glasses, 3 cups etc. Its really strange when you know that there will be 5 people. Also please you need to somehow connect the bunk bed to the wall, its really dangerous now, nor stable at all!

Super nice hotel. Big fancy room with a balcony. The food in the restaurant was really nice: we had pizza and it was gigantic, split into two and it was still too much - but soooo good! Breakfast had everything we wanted, and it all tasted good.

I chose this hotel to break up the journey down to Kristiansand and it did not disappoint. The room was large with a balcony, very clean and comfortable, restaurant was good and breakfast had a great choice. The site it broken into separate areas with hotel, cabins and camping. Play area great for kids, canoe hire for the adventurous and beautiful views. Staff were very customer focused, polite and helpful. One of the best hotels on our road trip.

Everything was good

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was outstanding. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice.

The chairs in the room were uncomfortable and the refrigerator didn't work. Not all information was easily accessible without asking.

I don’t like 2 single beds pushed together and promoted as a double bed which seems to be the normal in Norway. Doesn’t encourage a great sex life lol

Many different products for an overnight stay from camping, cabins, motel to hotel.

The single bed in my single room was less than 90cm (75/80cm?)wide. The parking spaces were not marked, which allowed for feier spaces.

Nice style/architecture right on the water.staff was polite and multi lingual. Food in the restaurant was good and fairly priced. The suite was nicely decorated.

We had the suite. It would have been nice to have a ceiling fan in the room. It was very hot in the room and the hallways. A box of Kleenex should have been provided along with washcloths for the price being charged.

Nice location, along the road and river. Not very much things to do in the village, but the hotel has a motel and a camping area all together. Room was good, breakfast also. Parking was good also.
