I extended my stay. The breakfast was very good! Something for everyone! It's a buffet. The rooms have nice balconies with garden view. Beds are comfy and have nice sheets. Staff is very friendly! I booked a massage, which was also very good. The restaurant was superb and I ate there every night! You can get food and drinks even at the pool bar all day! Location is brilliant, easy to walk to lovely Yarinacocha lagoon. It's close enough to get a motor taxi into Pucallpa if you have to. The pool is a good size, I could do some actual swimming when it was empty.

The upper floor room was nice, but not renovated and the bathroom was stuffy and had little cockroaches. BUT I got another room downstairs straight away and I saw them cleaning the whole property constantly, so I felt very comfortable. The downstairs rooms are more noisy though, as the are closer to pool and restaurant. Pool is good but often has ash in it as people around constantly burn things and its sort of raining down ash. Not much they can do about it though, as they do clean it during the day.

Very clean, well-maintained property with a lovely restaurant and beautiful pool. Air conditioning in the room was excellent, and kept me very comfortable. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Wi-fi could have been better. Some days were better than others.

They could improve the facilities. The gym, for example, needed more equipment.

Absolutely everything. This is an amazing hotel where they cannot do enough to help you and make you feel comfortable and at home. The food and restaurant is of a really high standard, the pool is clean, deep, and beautifully positioned so you can have sun or shade. Toilets and change rooms are clean and well tended. I took a cabana that was amazing value and beautiful. It had a bath and really hot water, great Aircon and English TV channels. I had my own little balcony to relax in and view the well kept garden. Close to the most amazing restaurant and all th sites you want to see in Pucullpa. I just loved it and will be back next year.

That I had to leave. And that I had made the mistake of booking 3 nights at the beginning of my time in pucallpa at the absolutely horrendous Wyndham hotel in the city center. Had I not changed to Los Gavilanes I would have a very bad feeling about what Pucallpa has to offer. There is no reason to stay in town, all of the wonderful things are near Los Gavillanes hotel where they ensure you are dearly cared for.

Nice place. Very clean and the shower had great hot water I loved it . Staff also are very kind and helpful . I stayed 1 day for a transit n will probably book again on my way back

The rooms are good size. The air conditioner takes a very long minute to kick in. The beds were good. The food was awesome , the pool was the highlight. The pool as a cool bar above it .

The only thing I was worried about was the bathroom . There were little bugs around the shower and I had to make sure to keep the bathroom door closed. The bugs and the way it smelled after one day of showering was very uncomfortable.

all as expected, but avoid the room near the pool. can be noisy during night, depending on the other guests

GAVILANES is unimaginably charming…the food is excellent and visually stunning…relaxed atmosphere made me feel like I was at home…cannot recommend enough!

Needed to have change at front desk. Airport driver not always available when agreed to.

The staff is friendly. The pool is clean. The hotel is well-located.

The quantity of the food compared to its price is not much.
