The location is perfect.. especially the view of the spectacular Batad Rice Terraces itself. Really friendly locals. The hike to the Tappiya falls was awesome.

Exceptional view of the rice terrace. Staff was very friendly and help. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all had good choices and was good. Keep in mind that everything is very basic in Batad

The shower has an electric heater, which didn't work well, but it was a shower and not only a bucket in the first place! The toilet has a "manual" bucket flush, but it was not flushed when we arrived in the room and still had poop in it.

The view was absolutely exceptional and therefore worth every penny. One may think that together with clean rooms that’s everything the Batad Hillside Inn has to offer. However, what made our stay absolutely unforgettable was the staff. They were incredibly helpful and exceptionally nice. We felt very well taken care of. So if you think about booking another place - you may miss out!

We only stayed one night at Batad Hillside Inn, but it was such a memorable experience for us. The room was basic but very clean, which was all we needed for a comfortable stay. The view of the rice terraces is absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful vibe made it a perfect quick escape. Breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We’d love to come back and stay longer next time!

The beds were comfy, so we had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was your usual Pinoy meal, but it definitely tasted better with that amazing view of the rice terraces. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing view and super friendly staff. Special shoutout to Jhaypee Bentican who assisted us all the time incl. food prep and as a tour guide, while doing the hike across the rice terraces. Definitely worth the experience.

Navigating on maps, waze and google maps was quite challenging. There is no service for your mobile device around the area, so it’s recommended to download an offline map before starting the whole trip. But as soon as you get to the place you’ll be amazed of the view and the friendly staff.

Location is amazing, I spent most my time just chillin and enjoying the view but there’s loads of hikes one can do around it Staff was great aswell and the food too

Nothing I didn’t like

Everything is basic but clean. There aren’t any five-star hotels in the area, so don’t expect luxury—but the hospitality is superb! The food is absolutely delicious, especially the adobo. I’ll definitely be back with the rest of my family and friends.

The view from the terrace is just spectacular.... sitting there in the morning watching the sun rise... just cant be any better...
