Been a long time since we’ve been to Vigan, and we appreciate how the staff helped us find the parking area and even picked up our luggages. They also escorted us to the hotel until we could check-in. The staff at the front, Ms. Ernalyn and Mr. Resty, were always smiling and are very attentive. The staff really made our stay better. For the breakfast, it was served at the exact time we asked them. We ate at the 2nd floor of the hotel and the vibe was really different as it is a historical place. Overall, our stay was excellent and everyone was very eager to help and/or accommodate us. We will definitely come back at Escolta’s. (Btw, if you’re looking for a pet-friendly hotel, then this is perfect for you. We brought our pet dog, and you will only leave a deposit that you can take back again during check-out.)

The location is at the heart of Calle Crisologo so you can see everything right outside the window of the common hall

The loft stairs is creaky and a bit loud you would know if someone steps on it… and the stairs going up some of the rooms is quite steep (i guess that’s the standard during the spanish era) and I keep on tripping on the door (design of the big door going to the commong hall has a small step that you wouldn’t notice) it needs reflectors or some warning about the step but the staff acknowledged our concern hopefully they resolve it for future visitors

From the moment we arrived, we are welcomed by a friendly and accommodating staff. They remembered us from our previous visit. The budget friendly room continue to impress us with comfort and cleanliness. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, providing sites to visit and suggestions about our trip/visit. We are looking forward to our next visit! 👍👍👍

The staffs are really accommodating and greet you always with a smile. Also the lodge is in the middle of Calle Crisologo so everything is walking distance such as fast food restaurants, souvenir shops and a lot more. The location is great itself and if you want to experience an old house vibe this is the one for you. They also have a puppy at the front desk which is so cute.

I think it's just the slow flow of water in the shower but we are informed by it and there is a note in the bathroom that if we need another bucket they can get us some, which is great.

The property for us vis very accessible on everything.. and we dont have to walk very far kust to roam around since we have senior in our family…its very convenient for my mother..

The architectural ofcourse is acceptable since it was in a historical place and it was amazingly one of the heritage building.. NO Doubt on that.. maybe for us it feels at creepy at first

Affordable, cozy place, lovely old building, right at the heart of Calle Crisologo (the main tourist attraction). Huge room for the price! And great service. Parking lot is a short walk away and huge and they bring your luggage via foldable trolley from and back to the parking lot. A great arrangement since you can't park on Calle Crisologo itself.

This is not their fault, but unfortunately, the location of the large family room we occupied was adjacent to a diner playing loud, repetitive music all day long (til about 10pm or so). So noise was a bit of an issue, at least it is if you plan to spend any extended period of time in the room during the day or want to sleep early. But it's an old building on Calle Crisologo so don't expect great soundproofing.

The hostel ia situated at Crisologo St (the Heart of Vigan City). The vibe was very Spanish Era. It is picture perfect and scenic. The location is very near to all activities and attractions.

The comfort room has no Bidet and the water was stuck at a certain area. No hooks for towels and tables for clothes inside the CR. The stairs were too steep which is not ideal for PWDs.

The staff are so responsive and accomodating. Location is the very best in the center of Calle Crisologo.The room rates were relatively cheaper than the nearby accomodations. You will be immersed in history while staying here because they preserved the old structures. Clean facilities and bathroom.

The big family room in the second floor for 6 people had only one airconditioner and it was not enough to cool the whole room. The small family room in the first floor had weak internet connection on both wifi and data due to its location at the back.

The location was great. It's right in the heart of Calle Crisologo. The manager was there to make sure everything was arranged. The staff were accommodating and served food on time. I appreciate the peace and quiet. The place is ideal for transient travelers.

From the very first day till the very last day, the staff was really accommodating. They were incredibly cordial, helpful, and cheerful. The surroundings, shower, and room were beautifully maintained. It is also close to popular eateries. If you wish to enjoy a nice stay in Vigan, this is the place to stay. I commend the establishment's proprietor and employees. I appreciate you so much letting us stay. 🎉
