Grand building in beautiful surroundings. The room was comfortable, breakfast tasty, staff very friendly, polite and accommodating.

There was only a thin seethrough curtain in the room which didn’t give enough privacy especially with the light on. A blind or thicker curtain would’ve been helpful as it would also block the light in the morning. You could also hear others in adjoining rooms so sound proofing not great. The hotel wasn’t busy so it was fine but it could be a problem if more people are staying.

It was spacious and had everything we needed. The room was always warm. Breakfast had a good selection of foods. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The only thing was the bedroom door handle needs fixing It was hard to keep closed and maybe an extra rubbish bin in the living room but minor things on the whole a great place to stay.

It was very nice that we could borrow an iron. The room was nice, the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was really delicious. Plenty of parking space.

The main hall is a bit kitschy. It was also a pity that the restaurant closes quite early, it's not easy to find some spot in the area for dinner later in the evening. There was not kettle in the room, although it was in the room description.

Omg. Best Hotel! I thought this looked good when I found it online but I’m not sure pictures can explain how cool this place is irl. It’s heavily decorated in decadence and golden plaster mermaids. Gold and white paint. Ceiling murals and wall tapestries. . If I was an art historian i’m sure this could be defined. It’s like historical Kitsch. Beautiful old furniture and marble tiles. Crystal chandeliers and table doylees. The room value is amazing. The rooms are wildly clean and reasonably priced. It’s quiet and peaceful - it’s a spa!! The grounds are huge and are like a private park with flowers and trees. The rooms are in the main house and also in some out buildings - there is great wifi and easy parking. Out room was in the main house and was perfect - even had a cute balcony. The staff have been so super kind to us. I usually don’t have expectations for a hotel breakfast but there was a super delicious buffet and an espresso machine and meats and fruit and yogurt and everything really. Then they offered us scrambled eggs and sausage to our table! amazing. This place is awesome!! I’m coming back for sure.

Literally nothing - I’m a musician I’ve stayed all over the world and this hotel has everything you need plus so so much more and all the charm. it’s clean quiet and super beautifully decorated.

Beautiful place. Art everywhere inside. Hi quality decoration and materials. Very clean. Here history and traditions complement modern life.

Look and feel of the place.

Shower needs work to look cleaner and be more ergonomic as its quite small to start with. For example move shower head to corner. Also not enough power sockets at desk height.

I would recommend restaurant. Great food at a very good price. Very good customer service
