Large, clean and modern room with a hairdryer and enough plugs. Parking available. Nice breakfast with home-made yogurt and jams. Internet was satisfactory. The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional.

Though we did like the breakfast, we saw that eggs are offered for an extra charge. In most hotels this is standard, so I would recommend to just include them in breakfast. Also, the coffee was so so.

Everything was great! Monsieur Desprairies is an outstanding host, he offered us the best home made juice we ever had upon our arrival. We also had delicious home made creol dinner together with the host and other guests. We enjoyed very much the time spent together, thank you! The room + bathroom were renovated and the window was equipped with mosquito net.

Great place, friendly host, very clean and well equipped room. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of local products. I enjoyed staying in this place. Highly recommend! It’s easier to get to the property by car. Not sure about public transportation.

The owner is extremely caring and friendly, he does everything to ensure his guests are comfortable. The setting is beautiful , the bed very comfortable and the food is delicious.

Clean and big rooms, comfortable bed, nice location. We appreciated the tasty home-made welcome drinks too.

It was very difficult to find the address because google maps indicated a path that does not exist. The host did point this out in the confirmation email but didn't really give helpful advice on how to get to the place (the only half hint didn't help us much as we aren't local people). Towels were old and very hard. Check-in could be more flexible.

The staff is very hospitable and friendly. The location and the drive to the property is really gorgeous

The smell coming from the toilet was not good, I guess there was a problem with the sewage. You have to be sure to properly close the door

authenticity, nice people, nice room, local food for breakfast, close to sugar cane fields = no lights = fantastic stars at night
