The beach itself was breathtaking, with immaculately maintained sunbeds always available. The location was perfect - just a leisurely 30-minute stroll to L'Ermitage for some shopping or a picturesque walk along the beach under the shade of the trees. The housekeeping staff were truly exceptional, providing top-notch service with a smile. And the dinner? Delicious!

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel fell short of expectations. The reception staff seemed unwelcoming and unprofessional, lacking the polish and courtesy one expects from a 5-star establishment. The inexperience of the young waitstaff was evident during our a la carte dinner, making us feel like we were an inconvenience. The service was not attentive which was disappointing. Breakfast was another letdown. As vegetarians, we were surprised by the lack of options, with no vegetables available. The fruit selection was limited, and often not replenished when empty. Considering these shortcomings, I would rate this hotel 3 or 4 stars at best. It fails to meet the standards of a 5-star hotel in terms of service, amenities, and overall experience."

We had such a wonderful time at Lux, we decided to extend our stay by a week. The customer service is convivial and professional , the location is excellent. Great access to the Lagoon which is safe (no shark cross the lagoon of corals). The breakfast is plentiful! We received a lot of kind gifts at our arrival.

We did not use the conciergerie but it looks like they charge additional cost for their service that can be prohibitive. Though the food outside breakfast is good, portion are small and you would get a better deal quantity and quality wise outside.

The staff is really cool, friendly and warm. They pay attention to every of your request. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and of course very clean. The TV has a lot of channels. The food is amazing !! Local products, delicious meals and a lots of choices. We recommend choosing breakfast and dinner included, because its worth the price and for dinner they also have concerts at the restaurant. The resort has a lot of activities to do in addition to the beach and snorkelling : tennis, chess, volley, fitness, library.

We were on our honey moon. At the reception while our check-in, they said that one of the dinners (we stayed 5 nights) is offered by the property in occasion of our honey moon, but at the end they made us pay the dinner. Also, the staff were working (cleaning, preparing the pool, the lounge chairs on the beach...) a little bit late in the morning, while we already were willing to do our activities. For example one day we went on the beach at 9am, but the lounge chairs weren't ready, and the staff were still preparing them, or another day I went swimming at 8am, and there was a member of staff in the pool trying to fix something.

Beautiful resort. Great rooms with lots of space and well fitted out. Beds were large and comfortable.. Great breakfast with many options available. Egg and pancake/crepe station, fresh orange juice machine and lots of other options. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great location, direct access to the beach. Biggest and most amazing pool, keep around the edge if you're short and just want to stand around. It's so big that it's actually not really a problem. Just over a 5 minute drive to a supermarket for supplies. Nice to relax at the resort but also had a few alternate places to eat within walking distance..

Wi-Fi sometimes gets spotty especially away from the main reception (don't remember getting overly frustrated though). Had a "do not disturb" one day but went out and came back to find housekeeping still came in. I was a bit confused by that more than anything.. My room was directly facing a tennis court, ideally would have preferred to be able to keep my curtains open and still have privacy if I wished.. Reception does get pretty busy however not a big issue. There was a store and I think a library/book store out the front but couldn't figure the opening hours. Was just walking past rather than it being a destination so didn't follow up/check with reception..

Epic location, right on the beachfront with a lagoon that has loads of fish. Relaxing.

The rooms are a bit dated, the bathroom isn't the biggest for 5 stars, and the kettles / hairdryers are really old. The kettle was mouldy. LUX Belle Mare is a better 5 star experience.

Perfect resort located in front of Indian ocean with private beach. The room I was staying in was spacious. The breakfast is plentiful and served in a beautiful location. The resort was not crowded.

More fresh vegetables could be served at breakfast.

The accommodation, the place surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. The location just in front of the lagoon.

The restaurants (La Plage) received several noisy groups during dinner time, ruining the atmosphere. The food took very long to arrive, when questioned the waiter explained the delay was due to the groups .. in a 5 star hotel this is unacceptable! If the hotel was receiving groups perhaps it was a good idea to serve dinner for the groups in a private room or a reserved place. The people on the groups shouted very loud and nobody from the hotel was able to deal with that very unpleasant situation.

Location and setting of the hotel. Welcoming and friendly staff. Great food. Plenty of activities.

This place is very good place to stay and relax after many excursions and hiking that the Island offers, all staff it super friendly and always happy to help , rooms where clean every day and fresh bootle of water was offer at evening time. Pool and beach service also very good. this hotel it located 45 minutes from the airport (Roland Garros ) and it is just next to the beach. Thank you very much to all reception ladies that help us finding our suitcase , they were always happy to help.

There is nothing that we did not like , only small details that can make this hotel perfect : Maintenance in the rooms , painting them again , replace the tiles in the entrance of the rooms . Dinners at the restaurants where limited by Buffet and La plage , Buffet was ok but not impressive , few dishes very very good . La plage was our favorite , really good. Orangine restaurant was close . In my opinion , this hotel needs more atmosphere , good music at the bar , at the restaurants etc . But we will be back !!!!!

the location was amazing, right on the beach and the facilities were fantastic too. the staff provided a good service and the food was good as well. very comfortable room

the bathroom was a bit dirty and could’ve been a lot cleaner. the prices of the food was just too high which took away the enjoyment and the WiFi could’ve been better
