The hotel's great location is close to many hiking trails, including the Le Maïdo viewpoint. Owners are very nice and helpful, even though we don't speak a bit of French, they tried to communicate important things at least with the help of a translator app. I would recommend buying food and drink supplies, there is nothing nearby within walking distance, at least as far as I know. But the accommodation has a well equipped kitchen to use. If you rent a car, definitely choose one with a more powerful engine. Sometimes there are some pretty steep hills on the way 🙈

The shower could be better sealed at the ground, water leaked a lot every time I took a bath and the bathroom was a total flood. But these are small things that did not interfere with a great stay :-)

very modern Apartment. separately bathroom and toilet. tv in room. wonderful view over Saint Paul. beautiful sunset view. great Terrasse to use. good starting point to go to Maido for sunrise.

Asked for a traditional breakfast and had one which we enjoyed very much. This is also our 2nd year coming to this place so needless to say more..we love it !!

So at this height above sea level temperature at night was around 5 degree Celsius and all we got for the night was bedsheet to cover at night. We ended up freezing, sleeping in all clothes we had - long pants, hoodie, jacket.. We had no blanket nor standard duvet to cover. We were praying for the night to end. Also aparently we booked more beds, but host showed us only one room with queen-size bed. No idea where bunk bed was.

Good location to go to Maido.

When we arrived the property was locked, everything was dark and nobody was there. After using the claxon of the car, another customer showed up an informed that we had to call a number. Somebody who was not the owner and with almost no knowledge of the property checked us in. The room was not clean. No heating was available in the room (outdoor temperature was 10 degrees) only more blankets were provided. The toilet sink did not have hot water. The shower was not clean. Overall, a terrible experience.
