Great, warm and unique accommodations and welcoming staff! They cater for weddings, hall events, birthdays, etc. Vegan options available for the events- speak with staff. Absolutely stunning place, wood carving stairway, canvas paintings on celling, walls, great attention to detail and amazing atmosphere. You not only feel you are in a palace, but you are treated and immerse in the fairytale of being royalty. By far, the most special, beautiful, affordable and breath-taking get-away experience I ever had. I cannot recommend this enough!

We've stayed in a big double room in the second building (25 square meters), which is in the back of the courtyard, the 3* one. The location is quite out of the ordinary, attention to details, the lobby from the ground floor and also the one from the upstairs are very nice furnished and assembled as you enter a medieval-like atmosphere. The room was decorated with mural paintings also with wainscoting and stained glass, which makes you feel like in a western Europe's castle. Cleanliness everywhere, we can't complain about that. The bathroom was over 10 square meters and had a hydromassage shower. The staff is very polite and helpful, even if there was only one lady who did the reception formalities and also the restaurant job as a waitress. As of the parking spots, the courtyard is huge so they are very well prepared for many guests coming by cars / motorcycles, etc. I've read some negative reviews before booking our trip, especially related to the rooms on this accomodation. My guess is that they were in the first building, which is a 2* hotel, and the rooms are smaller cheaper, accordingly to the stars 😉. My recommendation is to book maybe an expensive one for the travelers can stay in the second building, for a better position / room / facilities.

- The breakfast was good (not included in the room's price), but at 35 lei / person without coffee / water or a juice included it's quite expensive. - When we arrived there was only a lady at the reception and also doing work as a waitress. During a summer period and also because the hotel was almost full at the dinner, the manager should supplement the shifts because only one person can't handle all this stuff and serve all the people checked in this hotel. - In our bathroom the towel rail was broken and there was no other hanger around. - The wifi was quite inexistent in our room / area, and that one from the reception was too far away to catch.

The outside was fantastic, really well maintained and took some great photos. The room was nice and clean and beds comfortable and had everything we needed for one night. Secure parking was great.

The shower was cold and had no hot water at all and the water dribbled out. Unfortunately we were leaving fairly early - so couldn’t get hold of anyone to get help or come and fix it as no staff were available at that time.

Staff is fine. You can call them at any time, and they will do their best. Also, the theme of the building is interesting (medieval-like building, furniture, and paintings). They have a big parking lot. Clean towels and sheets.

- It was dark in the room, even in the middle of the day. I felt like I'm in a dungeon. Didn't actually matter how many lights you turn on, the light was absorbed by the painted walls and the furniture. - I had to hunt a big spider in the tub. - The shower didn't work. The tub was missing some parts. - The internet didn't work.
