This hotel is great and has a modern feel. The location is excellent, and having a swimming pool and spa is a nice bonus. I highly recommend it!

Breakfast is a big letdown for this hotel. The food is often cold and seems to be prepared too far in advance, and I’ve noticed several other guests expressing the same concern. Management really needs to address this issue. We stayed in room number 6, and the shower screen is too small. Every time you take a shower, the hall bathroom gets flooded, and the water doesn't drain well. Walking back into the bathroom on a wet floor at night could pose a fall risk for someone with mobility issues. A slightly longer shower screen would definitely help. All in all, we had a great stay at this hotel and will definitely be returning next year when we come back to Zalau!

Everything in the hotel is premium quality and you feel that. Congrats to the owners!

I booked the hotel for its spa, but the spa was completely closed a few days for maintenance. At least the gave as a discount at the restaurant. Also, when we went in our rooms, the carpet was completely wet (in both of the rooms) and they said that they just cleaned it and maybe in one hour they will be dry. But you couldn't walk without slippers because they were really wet and sticky from the cleaning solution.

The room reservation included access to the hotel spa. The spa was well maintained and equipped (don't expect a large spa, this is a small, cosy hotel). We really appreciated that there was a swimsuit dryer in the spa's dressing room. The hotel restaurant was really pleasant, the food was nice and the staff was helpful and attentive. The room was spacious and clean. No complaints, we liked our stay.

Breakfast. The buffet table was not set properly (spoons, lemon, fruit juices - orange juice was served by glass though, cups, etc) were missing. The lady who was responsible for the breakfast was kind of behind, she could not notice when and how to refill the buffet. In general, it was still satisfying, although as an ex server, I saw the possibility of improvements.

Right in the center of the city, lovely room with brand new furniture, restaurant with a large terrace on the roof with a nice view of the hills.

The pool is always busy with children having swimming lessons, the massage should be reserved in advance because is always full

I recently stayed at Hotel Boutique Aquarel in Zalău and had a fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities. The hotel's restaurant served delicious food and its central location made it easy to explore nearby attractions. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Zalău.

Swimimg pool, saunas and gym included in room costs. Very good restaurant, decent breakfast. Clean and fresh.

Water in showers was with chemicals like in swimming pool so my hair and skin was not very happy about that. Also in some rooms you can smell the swimming pool very much through ventilation and A/C.

Smell of the chlorine from swimming pool comes to the room. Climatisation was not accurate and it was difficult to have exact temperature - the given one could not be established.

Excellent location, very friendly staff and extremely clean hotel. The only let down were the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room but not the end of the world
