Lovely overall. Outstanding and true caring service, superb food (incredible logistics to bring those ingredients that far), well appointed vilas in minimalistic yet luxurious style. Personnel did everything they could to make our stay memorable, being flexible, creative and anticipating our needs. Zayan was an excellent butler, discrete but affective. Marine life abundant and accesible. Very well maintained island with palm trees. Outstanding spa and free yoga every day. The sea plane company they use (Manta Air) is reliable and flies despite rain and thunderstorms, surprisingly smooth. Excellent barista coffee every morning!

Almost spotless but in order to be perfect, would appreciate a better wine selection by the glass or small bottles, albeit this is common in muslim countries and its not bad, just pricey and sometimes repetitive. They keep working to improve the conditions of the reef and the lagoon, with a lovely resident naturalist, but as most of maldives have suffered from bleaching. Nevertheless, the local reef with a significant drop is abundant of marine life including sharks, turtles, rays, eels and colourful fish. Some water vilas are exposed to tides and can be a bit choppy at night during high tide (we visited during spring tides and was manageable).

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The property is stunning, beautifully maintained, and offers a true sense of peace and exclusivity. The service was outstanding, with every member of staff going above and beyond to make us feel special. The food was exceptional and the spa treatments were among the best we’ve ever experienced. We left feeling truly cared for and can’t wait to return.

unfortunately we didn’t have much luck with our ‘butler’ Liz. (even if I don’t like to name it like that). It was our 4th time on Maledives and never ever before the person was so less helpful than her. The ‘butler’ even did not accompany us before leaving (as it used to happen in other resorts) and my daughter’s belongings got lost. No help from the hotel to get our belongings buck!!

There is honestly nothing not to love, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, our personal butler was attentive and and added a lot of personal touches that made us feel like more than just paying customers, and the facilities/property were beautifully designed and maintained. Below is a more detailed review: Rooms: We took the 4-series rooms specifically for the sunset view which was a gorgeous view to behold. The pool is refreshing and the stairs down to the beach from our own room meant we could go for a dip/snorkel at any time, brilliant touch. Beaches/Facilities/Features: The rest of the property was breathtaking. Scenic dirt roads connect the island and villas have bikes that are used to ease travel from one point to another. Bike parking stations are also available, a lovely touch. The beaches are beautiful and the atoll provides plenty of room to snorkel (incredible vibrancy of marine life to enjoy from sharks to fish to eels). The spa is simply but enjoyable with a steam/dry sauna and a room temperature plungepool. Yoga classes available at set times and the massages are phenomenal. Staff: Our room had a dedicated butler that would attend to our every need. The rest of the staff at the restaurants were cheerful and accommodating and a cocktail is hosted weekly for the guests to mingle with some of the management team who were all very approachable and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Food: Great selection across the board from the room service to the 2 restaurants they had on the island. Brilliant selection of local/regional flavors as well as more mainstream dishes, everything tasted exceptionally delicious. Logistics: The hotel was resourceful with providing step-by-step instructions for entering the country. Once arrived we were received by representatives that handled our luggage and arranged our sea plane flight to the hotel.

Nothing at all, although if I were forced to be unreasonably picky I would say no jacuzzi in the spa (but that is being unreasonably picky).

Thank you to all staff and our battler. Our holiday was great, especially compare to another 5*hotel we stayed second week after Como. Kids club, by end of our holiday my child wanted to stay there all day. Restaurants offer a la carte menu even for breakfast and for kids. Good selection and quality. Staying in COMO Maalifushi was like no other holiday I have ever had. We had half board and every meal was excellent. All the staff were friendly and many of them remembered our names! There was plenty to occupy our time during our week’s stay!

I wish we stayed for longer …

The view was breathtaking. There was very little artificial light in the resort so at night the star gazing is just as amazing. The staff was AMAZING. Everyone's super friendly and helpful. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we were blown away.

Excellent hotel, quite a large island with well-kept grounds, villas in good condition, excellent service. Varied and tasty menu in restaurants. We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel.

Wonderful breakfast

The staff at the resort are absolutely amazing, exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. I had the pleasure of my hostess during the trip being Citti, what an incredible woman and there was nothing that was too much to ask of her.
