We booked very late in the evening due to a cancelled flight and were amazed by the warm welcome. The receptionist even called us right after the booking to check if she could prepare anything for us. When we arrived late at night, everything was ready and stress-free. Our suite was set up while we enjoyed a late dinner at the excellent restaurant – they had kindly stayed open for us. The food was fantastic, and Chef Fabrice Giraud came by personally. The whole setting is stunning – an elegant 18th-century house, beautiful garden, and a peaceful pool area. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which we found charming. Truly outstanding hospitality. 5/5

We stayed at La Dimora last year and enjoyed it so much that we returned this year - no better recommendation! The hotel is beautifully appointed and very stylish but at the same time exceptionally welcoming. The location is perfect being so close to the charming Saint Florent and its excellent restaurants and easy to reach by car from Bastia airport. Rooms are spacious and very individual in decoration and furnishing. The hotel pool is a highlight with comfortable loungers, hot tub and pool bar. Standards are high throughout the hotel from cleaning to catering and staff delightful and always aiming to please guests. Buffet breakfast is appetising with good choice. Restaurant menu offers wide selection for both lunch and dinner, all well presented and executed.

The restaurant menu offers a good range of options but is fairly static. Pricing seems on the high side compared to some strong local competition.

Very quiet and beautiful pool and gardens. We had a Villa and it was very comfortable. The staff were charming and helpful. Beds comfortable. Supermarket very close for self catering in Villa.

The breakfasts were extra and not good value. They charged us for a small jug of milk. Spa not really a spa. Massage table in basement.

Public areas in general are well kept and enjoyable, the area around the pool doubles as restaurant for lunch and dinner and there are also some free time areas to use, including a petaque on the back (area that is a bit run down and seems a bit an afterthought)

Our room, booked last minute, was indeed too small considering we have a big dog with us; we would have appreciated to be either informed about the real size or offered an alternative if available.

Hotel has amazing design, very friendly staff and owner, comfy bed, nice warm swimming pool. They are very dog friendly which was for us very important. Overall beautiful hotel, definately can recomend!

Sometimes bit noisy by the pool, maybe consider to make hotel adults only:-)

Our junior suite was spacious and beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could need. The hotel breakfast was very fresh and the restaurant serves excellent food for dinner. The hotels location 5 minutes from town is perfect

The place is incredibly pretty and stylish. the staff all delightful, helpful and genuinely friendly and kind. our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. the pool area is gorgeous and the breakfast and restaurant exceptionally good. we had the best food here and loved everything Also big plus they have electric charging stations for 2 cars

Beautiful boutique hotel rustic features but luxurious. We stayed in the suite that had 2 balconies, could live there ! The dinner in the evening was delicious & beautifully presented, great chef who cam out to chat to us.

Very picturesque in a great location. Large comfortable rooms, lovely pool area. Good breakfast and excellent dinner.

I think at this level a daily water and coffee top up should be standard.
