This is an iconic hotel globally. It delivers exceptional standard across all client expectations and the icing on the cake is the extraordinary accessibility and beauty of the islands reef.

The only reason I wouldn't go back is the value for money. The rooms themselves are fair in value, however the pricing of food and activities leaves a sour taste. We've paid as much for food and activities as we did for the rooms themselves, even though we were half-board. We only averaged one activity per day and only ate 2 proper meals a day. fyi, taxes for maldives means we paid an equal amount on taxes as we did for accommodation.

Exceptional. Wonderfully relaxed. Great facilities. Brilliant design. Great staff. Fantastic food. Catamaran sailing + diving.

Some of the activities are bizarrely over-priced eg an hour's jet ski is $472US (inc 26% tax/service)... so the only people using the mechanised watersports were a few Russians... a shame as some brilliant equipment largely unused.

The customer service at this hotel is truly exceptional. When inclement weather prevented us from visiting the nearby islands on our scheduled day, the staff went above and beyond to make alternative arrangements. They quickly secured a hotel just a short five-minute drive from the airport and promptly rescheduled our flights when we expressed concerns about the revised departure time. . Their thoughtfulness and efficiency in handling the situation were truly commendable. The way the staff empathized with our disappointment at losing a day on the island soothes our disappointed hearts! They wasted no time in offering us an upgrade and special perks to compensate for the unforeseen circumstances. Their genuine concern and effort to make things right instantly turned our disappointment into excitement. Once we arrived on the island, we were greeted by a team of enthusiastic staff members who created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their beaming smiles and genuine hospitality added an extra layer of joy to our vacation. It was evident that they genuinely cared about ensuring we had a memorable and enjoyable time. Throughout our stay, our assigned gem, Hamzath, proved to be a true gem indeed. He took great care of us, ensuring our every need was met. Hamzath went above and beyond to curate unforgettable dining experiences for us, recommending the finest restaurants and providing personalized attention. It was clear that he took immense pride in his work and genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience. The natural beauty of the island was simply breathtaking. The crystal-clear waters and vibrant colors of the surrounding ocean were truly mesmerizing. We were thrilled to discover that we could easily indulge in snorkeling right from our room.

Excellent hotel for families with children. A large area overgrown with jungle, the villas on the beach where we stayed are located at a great distance from each other, providing privacy. Delicious and varied food, large and well-made common areas of the hotel (restaurants, shops, diving center etc, I would like to separately mention the "ice-cream bar" with a huge selection of their own delicious ice cream) a stunningly beautiful reef for diving and snorkeling. Very attentive friendly and polite staff - I would especially like to highlight and thank our butler Ainur - who made our stay very rich, interesting and carefree.

I think the villas are need of renovation especially in terms of electrical equipment.

The overwater villas are amazing and unique with several private sitting areas. Staff is exceptionally friendly friendly. Restaurants, especially the breakfast buffet and as excellent. Jimmy that tan the gym is one of a kind and alway ready to help you workout.

Two generally minor items. 1. after paying roughly $1,000 per day, being charged $40 for a yoga or workout class seems petty. 2. the staff takes efforts to try to up-sell you on special wine dinners or a beach barbecue at outrageous rates. That leaves a sour taste for us. Half board for breakfast and dinner is expense and asking for another $150 each as a supplement for a BBQ seems short sighted.

Breakfast was phenomenal. The themed food evenings were a highlight particularly the Asian Street Food Market. The villas are spacious, comfortable and have the wow factor you’d expect in the Maldives and at this price point. The resort is stunning and has plenty activities to keep you occupied for a week to 10 days. A shout out to our GEM Ashraq who was warm, polite, friendly and couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful.

we would have loved to have a night dancing; expect long transfer times / layovers to and from the resort - while the distance from Male of course has also its benefits

Fantastic diving, saw sharks, mantas, turtles, everything. Many food options. Breakfast was great, many options and cooking stations.

Food is excellent with lots of options. The service is 5 stars and above! Great house reef. We hardly saw our children which loved the kids club and all the activities. We all had a fantastic holidays.

We stayed in a family villas. The loo and bathroom sinks are behind the bed which is not ideal. The shower are in the other side of the villa. It’s an odd design.
