We love the location and the fact that it is in the most beautiful gardens and near to a lovely walkway. We loved our room,number six. We had especially asked for this room as we stayed here two years ago. we love the warm welcome that was given to our dog, Daisy.

We can’t think of anything we didn’t like. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was our meal wasn’t as good as when we last visited. Mine was actually tasty but my husband felt this was over salted. Perhaps the hotel could consider a plat du jour in addition to the main menu.

We had a nice second floor room overlooking the sea and garden with a small balcony. It wasn't the largest room but the view was superb. The spa with swimming pool and sauna etc. was a good late afternoon activity. There are large well kept gardens extending down to the sea and beach, with sun loungers, chairs and tables scattered about for when the sun is shining. The breakfast offering was wonderful with the ability to order eggs in addition to the extensive continental buffet. The dinner menu did not change over our stay and was on the short side for our stay of six nights. The price was slightly expensive. Drinks, including wine at dinner, were expensive but the bar was cosy and stylish with a good log fire lit on many evenings. This was a good venue for a pre dinner drink. It is an easy stroll down to the port with a few restaurants and a good bar about five minutes walk away. We were very comfortable here for six nights and had a very relaxing holiday served by friendly and delightful staff. We highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing to add here

This is a lovely hotel in a delightful garden setting, just beyond Locquirec port with its little cafes and restaurants. You can access the sea directly below the hotel for good swimming. It is also easy to pick up the GR34 hiking trail and walk along the coast. The weather was good so didn't use the spa but it looked very nice. We took a superior room with large terrace/balcony which was really lovely with a super comfy bed.

Unfortunately, on our first evening there was an ordering mishap in the restaurant which left us waiting almost an hour between entrees and main courses, in spite of persistent assurances that the food was coming. This was disappointing and we rather lost confidence and ate elsewhere. We did try the hotel again later and it was good enough.

This is how you imagine a grand hotel. A dreamlike property on a huge plot of land right on the Atlantic... you feel as if you have been transported back decades. Charm and comfort permeate every corner of the house. Very friendly service, great breakfast buffet, direct access to the beach... everything fits here.

Only the bathrooms could be modernized. The shower in the bathtub no longer quite meets today's standards.

Truly a quite delightful hotel. We have travelled quite extensively, and this hotel goes straight into our top ten. Its position is wonderful, overlooking its own beach, with walks from the gate, and yet set within the lovely small town of Loquirec. We asked for a room with sea view and terrace/veranda- a lovely room- and were delighted to find that we could enjoy the sunrise every morning. The gardens have character and provide many places for sitting and lounging and enjoying those views. The indoor pool of hotels is often set in the basement- but not this one, it looks across the gardens, and is exactly as described in the brochure. An excellent restaurant, which is quite formal but not fussy, and also the restaurant at Hotel du Port is recommended. Excellent service from everybody. We call this a “destination hotel”, it’s worth coming here just for the hotel- but of course there is so much more. The hotel has a wonderful ambience, its character is described as New England, but in its soul you will definitely find Proust. Highly recommended.

There was nothing to dislike and everything to like!

Hotel with beautiful grounds, right by the sea in an absolutely superb location. Room with sea views. Friendliness of the staff. Very large and warm indoor pool. Dinner was of a very high standard. The carpaccio de dorade is a must!

What a beautiful and spectacular hotel in magic setting. Fabulous scenery on edge of quaint village well served by bars and eateries. Great staff and very comfortable rooms.

My only gripe is a regular one. As we get older, showers inside baths contain and ever present risk of injury. Also at €24 breakfast was bit pricy so we declined.

Location, welcome, views, beach, bteakfasts

The buffet style dinner was a bit disappointing. Wonderful and generous hot doeuvres but fish entree had to be kept warm. Desserts not suitable for me as I’m gluten free ( and I did say so well in advance) though chef made me a meringue which was nice.

There are not enough words to describe this place. This amazing and well maintained hotel with beautiful gardens and on top of that a gorgeous location overlooking the water. The staff is very friendly and professional. The amenities are all according to expectation.
