I recently stayed at Madpackers Hostel in Bir, Himachal, and had a fantastic experience. The location is very accessible, conveniently near the bus stop and Bir market. The property itself is well-decorated and inviting, featuring a reception cum sitting area with plenty of indoor games and a movie projector. The hostel dorms are well-maintained and clean, providing a comfortable stay. Additionally, it is the most affordable hostel in Bir, making it a great option for budget travelers. I recently stayed at Madpackers Bir, during my backpacking trip, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience! The location is perfect, situated in a well-accessible area that made it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly had a great time with Arun and Adriza they were always ready to assist with any needs or questions, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hostel was relaxed and welcoming. It's a great place to meet fellow travelers and exchange stories. Plus, the price is unbeatable for the quality of service and amenities provided. I highly recommend Madpackers to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and conveniently located place to stay. It's the one place which is offering more than what they are charging ...I mean I booked it for less than 500 bucks but in return madpackers gives me alot more.....Starting from the staff behavior, They staff was very humble and friendly also they help in in couple of things like arranging adventure activities and group visit to mostly places in Bir since I travelled Solo. And whenever i addressed him regarding the cleanness or anything else the staff instantly resolved it on priority base...It's very near to bus stop just a 2-3 km which is another positive point and The most most most good part about madpackers is the Friendly and Good vibe environment of that place like ...I had been there for 1 week but it feels like Home to me....I would highly higly suggest you even if you visiting the bir with your friends group or solo...It's a must visit accommodation place for your next trip.....Happy journey 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

This hostel is absolutely superb. Located in Bir, very near to private bus stand is really easy to reach. They have rooms and dormitories (4, 6, 8 sharing). The rooms are clean and well maintained. Air conditioned and have large lockers for the big backpacks. I stayed in a 4-bed mixed and an 8-bed mixed dormitory and had no complaints whatsoever. Free Wi-Fi available in all parts of the hostel which makes it convenient if you are working. They have a big reception cum common room where you can work, play board games or can indulge in chats with fellow travelers. They have a beautiful terrace where you can sit and do things like watching sunset, serenity or simply can watch people paragliding. In the evening people gather in terrace for bonfire, stories & more. They also help you for booking paragliding, renting scooties or booking cabs late at night. It is located inside Bir colony and walkable distance from Bir private bus stand. It has many cafes/dhabas of different foods in close proximity (Nyigma Café, Ram Bahadur café, Himalaya Café etc.). Most of the major monasteries are also withing walking distance. Because of its location and availability of all amenities it becomes one of the best places to stay around Bir. The staffs are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile to make your stay better. They have the most friendly and helpful receptionists which makes a great first impression of hostel. Big thanks to Ankush, Mansi, Prodip, Shekhar for making the stay comfortable & fun and Surojit and Sudip for taking care of all the small requests. They arrange little events and fun parties in the evenings & weekends which makes they stay more entertaining no matter if you are a solo traveler or with a group. I have stayed in many hostels across India, but this is one of the very few places which felt very close to home.

This property was s situated at centre of the hill station and every doable thing is close to the hostel. Very spacious and clean. Adriza and Arun are the nicest host ever met. These people are very welcoming in nature and keep you entertained.

There is nothing such to mention but a better common area would give it a 5 star.

Firstly the staff is very welcoming and supportive. The property is centrally located at the market. It has all the stay options like dormitories and private rooms. The most affordable yet neat and clean stay specially for solo travellers.

I Stayed in women dormitory for 3 days , it was value for money. Staff was cooperative and i enjoyed a lot there. 😊 After all its value for money

They cleaned the room , that was not the problem but dustbin didn’t get empty on daily basis. ☹️
