We arrived at 6 am and it was very cold outside. The lovely employee there let us into the lobby, got us a heater and made us hot tea. Then the manager arrived, checked us in very quickly (compared to other places in India that can be exhausting with this process) and gave us our rooms at 7 am even though check-in was supposed to be at 12 noon. The employee helped us carry the heavy bags to the rooms, and when I tried to give him a tip he refused with a smile. The rooms were great, spacious, clean, stunning view, great shower with hot water. And the beds were comfortable and cozy, and the rooms had a radiator that warmed us up at night. And a bonus - there is a ping pong table downstairs that we really enjoyed playing on.

Nothing, everything was great there.

Great views from room and dining areas of mountains and snow. Location on the edge of town so a bit quieter, but also a bit of a climb up to the property so not so easy for the elderly or particularly unfit I daresay. Staff friendly and helpful particularly the older gent with the moustache whose name I unfortunately can't remember. He was very caring when I got sick with (I think) food poisoning / gastro (source unknown but I gave chicken momos a miss afterwards).

The traffic and crowds, roads too poor and too many tourists for a small town. Should have gone there 10 years ago!

The staff was very helpful, polite, and soft spoken. Food was very good and we took options of having dinner too inhouse. Their main kitchen staff.....i keep forgetting his name....maybe Mahipal {not sure} was the longest working with them.. Rooms, view and comfort was excellent. Only had to change my schedule as they could not manage our early check-in but that is understandable

The climb to the facility, a tiring four story climb to the reception and another two storey to our room. But the view covered the tiring effort

Staff (Hemraj) needs to be more sensitive to guests especially when there is women, after a long bus journey wanted some rest by early checking, which was available at the time, was refused initially claiming that early checking was not possible. Though he appeared to be helping, inherent behaviour was that of sadist. However, after long conversation it was allowed for one room. Let the staff be more pleasant receiving guests than showing rules and regulations. Apart from this everything went fine.

Probably the best stay we have had in a while. We are a couple who like travelling, and we found a home in Kasol with this beautiful stay. Firstly, the location is surrounded by mountains and lush green landscapes. It is also very near to bus stand and market (without any noise). The rooms are tastefully decorated, the staff (HemRaj and Rival) are extremely polite and helpful, and the food is superb. We never felt away from home with this hotel. Highly recommend!

Hotel rooms were very clean and balcony having such a beautiful mountains view. This hotel is having car parking space which is very rare in kasol. All staff are so polite,helpful they made your stay even way more good. Food is so tasty.its located in the center of kasol. So you can easily accessible by walk to market and other happening cafe all those are in 500 meter from the hotel.over all we had a great stay with you. Thank you to all team members of hillside.

The location was fantastic. We had a great view of the mountain and the river from the room and the balcony. The breakfast was very good with many choices available. The hotel staff were very polite.
