Star Villa helped book shuttle bus to n from HSR station so it’s really easy to come this amazing place. They helped arrange free pick up for our nice hot pot dinner at nearby restaurant. Stargazing at 8.30pm was amazing with great commentry. Fortunate to have clear sky full of stars. Scenery of surrounding mountain fm our balcony was awesome, we watch sunset from our room. You can walk down the slope along the side of road to a few eateries, 7-11 or Swiss garden etc. You can turn left when u reach the main road n walk up the slope in the other direction to Carton King which also has a restaurant, this is also the foot n entrance of the sky walk. If walking up skywalk is hard, u can ask hotel staff to help book a transport to the start of Cingjing farm entrance n walk down the slope, also has entrance to skywalk , I did that because is easier for my elderly mother. U can try catch the thrilling Horsemanship Show by Mongolian riders after visiting the Cingjing farm. Staff at StarVilla are professional, very helpful and friendly. Thank you staff of Star Villa for making such wonderful n welcoming experience for my family. Hope to come again.

The owner was very kind and drove me out when I have to take transport to leave the place. They also give me a complementary upgrade and I got the highest room with a balcony, facing sunset. The view was fantastic. The place is quiet and peaceful. At night, the owner also gave us an informative talk on how to identify stars. If u have no transport, u can take a bus from Taichung and stop at the OVO busstop sign outside Carton King. Or u can ask to share transport. Check with accommodation to arrange for u.

Need to walk about 5 minutes from Carton King to reach the accommodation. If u have luggage, might be strenous but still doable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave really clear directions to all the attractions upon arrival, were able to help me sign up for the sunrise tour and answered my inquiries when my own transport arrangements fell through. Location is great. Conveniently located not too far from the bus stop, close to a few small family-run restaurants and just around the entrance to Qingjing Skywalk. If you don't drive, they also have an arrangement with a couple of restaurants to pick up and drop you back at the villa after dinner. Facilities are pretty good. Although there's no air conditioning, it was still pretty chilly on the day that I visited even though it was summer, so the fan was more than enough. You do get some bugs, but considering the proximity to the mountain, it's fairly unavoidable. Also, the view is brilliant! If you get a chance, do join the stargazing session (conducted in Mandarin) with the owner on the rooftop. It's a lovely experience when the sky is clear enough.

Our one of luggage was missing due to another passenger who was in the same bus with us take the wrong luggage. He was so kind to go extra miles to help us out to get back our luggage. Save our remaining trip. -Just 5 to 15 mins walking distance then you will get good restaurants, cafe and convenience store -5 mins walking distance to Sky walk entrance (40 mins walk to Qingjing farm via Sky walk) -Breakfast is simple but delicious -Room is sufficient space for our family .

-Nothing much. No room heating facilities but electric mattress is so comfy and warm so not a problem.

The location was amazing being perched on the sunset side of Qingjing where we had a wonderful view of the sea of clouds. Our room also had sentimental touches that will stay with us - such as the glow in the dark stargazing ceiling (we were in the Saturn room), the heated mattress and floors, and the lovely east facing balcony. We will come back.

It was a bit hard to find with our English interfacing GPS. But the finding was complicated with fog in a rainy environment and a late check-in in the dark.

The view is magnificent! We literally watched the sunset from our room balcony. But what impressed upon us most was the star gazing at night. The owner would give a short introduction on the stars with a green laser pointer so we really could see what he was referring to. It's really awesome. The water heater was strong and powerful. It was cold but the heated blankets helped to keep us all toasty. There was also a super friendly resident cat, Kitty, who would sometimes climbed onto your lap if you sit down next to it. Breakfast is spread is very good, there's something for everyone in the family and you can have it on the patio looking out to the mountains. For, there are restaurants which offer two way transport from the villa. We went for Yi Na Gu chicken which was very good and satisfying. If you plan to walk to the 7-11 at the Swiss Garden (where you can also have a simple dinner there) at night, do bring along your torchlights. Location was very good, just a short walk in from the main road and the shuttle bus stop which will bring you to Cingjing Farm. Carton King is nearby too. But if you go for the skywalk, do check out the ice cream/ coffee shop right at the bottom of the slope/stairs. The milk tea, hot chocolate and pancakes are just what you need to perk you up for the day.

The view is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perched on a hill and out from my bedroom window, I can see the sunset amidst the clouds, and layers upon layers of clouds at dawn. Star gazing is conducted at night with the very knowledgeable 许先生, who introduced to his guests the different stars that make up the night sky and even recommended an app for us to try out. Oh, he even loaned binoculars for star gazing! Breakfast is a simple affair with some local dishes and bread, but definitely healthy. What made the hotel special is the hospitality of 许先生 and his parents, who made us feel like family with their warmth, recommended restaurants and scenic spots, and even helped us reheat our leftover food. A big thank you to them for a very memorable stay.

The mattress was rather thin, and is thus not very comfortable.

The bed came with a bed warmer.

Prices at Star villa were on the steep side. The rooms and bathrooms were more worn than expected. The weather was overcast so the star gazing was cancelled. Too many flights of stairs to deal with to get from breakfast/ the lobby to the rooms.

very friendly and welcoming hosts, and helping to arrange all activities. The views were beautiful, especially at sunset! rooms were big and comfortable, all amenities provided. A short walk out to the main road with food stalls outside, and a short distance to the skywalk entrance.

I went during winter and there was no heating in the room. The heating blanket was great to keep warm at night but it was still cold going to the toilet and walking around the room.

The room is very spacious, very clean, very comfortable for family with young kid. We even get to see sunset and star in the comfort of our balcony! The food variety is acceptable. Porridge, condiments, bao, bread, nuggets, ham, bacon. Staff service is wonderful! very friendly and helpful. If you need dinner, the villa has partnership with 2 restaurants which can areange for transport to pick and fetch from the villa.

Not close to convenient store and fridge. But thankfully the weather was cooling so our drinks were still able to keep cool.
