Location is great. Walking distance to restaurants, little shops… the guys at the reception have Tuktuk contacts to come and pick you up for longer distances and they are in general very helpful. Food is amazing! We would say the best we had while in Kerala. While we were there, we were the only foreigners, the rest people staying were Indian, so it also made it feel more special.

Cleanliness was not great. The towels were dirty and the closest too. We asked for the towels to be changed but the new ones were dirty too. Thankfully we had our own which we needed up using instead 🙂

My room was big, with a small balcony door that I could have open. It's a bit old, but comfortable enough. The shower was good. It's run with solar, so I know they may have issues with the hot water at times. Nice breakfast omelette made to order. There are two rooftop areas above the reception and restaurant. It was a nice place to sit in the early evening. Located at the outskirts, which makes it a quiet location.

This hotel really feels like a resort, wooden balconies and lots of lovely trees and plants around. Feels close to nature and relaxing! The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Our booking included breakfast and dinner, and both were delicious (mostly Indian options). The staff was always kind and the hosting was great. We were especially happy to find the hotel has a RO device for guests use as well :)

The food is so tasty, and its staff provided exceptional hospitality, ensuring a memorable experience. Staff attention to detail and dedication to guest comfort created an atmosphere reminiscent of a mini-resort, offering a serene and relaxing ambience. Mr. Kunthal and Mr. Wilson exemplified outstanding hosting, making the stay enjoyable and seamless.

They should have worked a bit better on the interior of the Rooms.

The Location With beautiful greenery edge OF forest , the architecture OF building , breakfast was Good , Staff was very obliging - to adjust the one meal to our convenience , to bring us extra pillows and generally take Good care OF us , good ac , Good wi fi connection

The hotel is placed a little off center in a quiet street, but still close to the city center. The hotel buildings are nice to look at and the courtyard is very beautiful and green. I loved that. Sometime the monkeys will come and visit. They were always a highlight for me, while staying there (Just don't leave your food lying around.). The cooks of this place are AMAZING. Every dinner I ordered tasted really good, felt like authentic Indian cuisine and was really balanced in regards to the spices. The staff was always very kind, most of them just don't speak good English but we could communicate the important things without issues. My room was very clean.

WiFi was a big problem for me, because I had to work while I was there. The WiFi can be very fast at times, but a lot of times I had WiFi issues or the power went out. For the power outages they do have a generator though. Some of the bedsheet were a little spotty which led to the feeling, they weren't clean. (They were absolutely fresh, no worries.) Maybe change these out?

The property has been beautifully designed. Rooms are airy and comfortable and the staff is kind.

Food options are limited. The person at the front desk, Mohsin, helped us a lot on our last night. But there was this other person in the day who was absolutely uncooperative. Any request made to him was met with disinterest. I feel the property needs to work on being warm and hospitable.

We, as a family with our kid stayed in Sopanam Heritage recently and here is our review. 1.Firstly about the look and feel of rooms and cottage - the place was so tastefully designed and cleanly maintained that it instantly feels like home. Every corner of the place is crafted beautifully. 2.Food - we requested for breakfast and on both the days it was soooooo good and authentic. Even Tea was ready and served to us early in the morning, knowing our itinerary without even requesting 😊 3.The best part about the stay was the hospitality we received. Lawrence uncle treated us like his own family and took care of everything we wanted throughout. Not just about the stay, he even takes efforts to plan our itinerary and drops us at the tourist spots making sure we're comfortable and enjoy the trip. A wonderful and caring person and host. Mrs & Mr Rajesh were very warm and kind. All of them will treat you like their own family member or guest has visited the place! Overall a pleasant and memorable stay. Highly recommended.

I have been looking good quite location with the beautiful ambiance that property fulfilled my requirement I want to add the point hotel resturent food is very nice , they can also help the guest in arranging the tourist activities near to the hotel, the nature and hotel accomodation will make you more comfortable and it's safe secure and beautiful place to visit. Must recommend to have a great stay there.

The property is good but it’s still under some renovation work. There’s nothing much to see outside windows. We had 3 rooms booked.

Property has to improve the food options. People come to Kerala/Thekkady to enjoy local cuisine and the food was very much limited to only North Indian. With respect to food, it is BIG NO.
