My husband and I had an amazing time at the Country Lodge. I will recommend it to anyone who asks! The place is also perfect for bigger groups that may want to be together and have private rooms. We went there during the #capestorm and had to extend our stay by two extra nights as a result. Peter was fantastic and was always concerned for our safety. The photos do not show how amazing the breakfast is! I will be definitely staying there if we end up in Agulhas again. Peter and his team are truly exceptional.

The building leaks during the rain and our carpet got damp during our stay making the room have a funny smell towards the end of our stay.

We've always wanted to stay at this place and it didn't disappoint. Our room was lovely and we loved the bath! Great views and friendly staff. We also enjoyed the fires in the cigar lounge after eating out at night. Well located, close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was also really lovely. Altogether, a lovely two nights' stay.

The outside is in need of repair facia hanging down. A bit gloomy on entering the Lodge. Our room was classed as the honeymoon suite not quite sure why apart from two shower heads

The breakfast was wonderful, well-prepared and really delicious. The location was ideal for us to visit Cape Agulhas.

The number of stairs to reach our room was slightly difficult for us to handle, as we are older. Otherwise, the historic hotel as wonderful.

A beautiful old building at the end of the world, with spacious room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and great view from the balcony. The staff is really helpful and nice, the breakfast is good. Ideal not only for a stopover but for a longer stay too. Free parking place belongs to the accommodation.

The lodge was exceptional, the location, structure beyond amazing... the rock building with Origan Pine wooden floors , doors and window frames great. Breakfast was the next level above satisfactory... exceeded any expectation of a quality presentation at a guesthouse. Phil Fenwick and his daughter were great hosts and professionally kind and helpful. Their attention to detail commendable....

Good location. We didn't have enough comfort because we wanted to light a fireplace because of the cold weather, but were ignored by the staff. The breakfast was not impressive, but overall the place is good and we are ready to come back again.

A great stay over on our start of the Garden Route. The lady who booked us in was so helpful and friendly, the room, bathroom especially was delightful and I had the best nights sleep of my whole holiday, such a comfy bed - possibly even better than my own! The honesty bar and cigar lounge made for a cosy end to the evening, and breakfast was good too.

We stayed at The Agulhas Country Lodge four years ago, and knew that we would come back some day. We were upgraded on arrival to the Honeymoon Suite, complete with whirlpool. We had the most amazing views from our balcony. The freshly cooked breakfast was incredible, as was the cold continental buffet. Overall a great place

A funky architectural style but with great character. Excellent staff and service and a very good breakfast. A little tired in places but otherwise a great experience. Thanks
