Stayed at the hotel for a couple of days, and it was a great stay. The hotel is located within a short walk from the train/bus station, there are plenty of convenience stores around. The room was great, in my case Japanese style, and the view even had the sea in the distance. The window can be opened, and there's a mosquito net. Wi-fi worked well in the room. The price was good, although I booked in advance, so the price might vary. There's a hot bath in the hotel, which i unfortunately missed during the visit, but at the same floor there are also two washing&drying machines I used. There are only two sets per hotel, but it's not a big one, so both were available. The breakfast was phenomenal, with lots of local produce, crab soup, fresh fish.

Personnel was superb ! Especially the Lady upon checkout. Invited me to free coffee although I did not book the breakfast package. She was dashing after me to the bus stop for the Airport transfer to bring me a charging cable from my mobile, which I forgot. She was so helpful. Location was perfect. Close to restaurants, AEON supermarket, Nemuro train station, bus stop. Also the room was nice, clean, spacious and especially the public bath. What I also really appreciated was daily room cleaning. It is such a good feeling to return to a room, tidied up and clean. Thank you for a great stay !

Nemuro does not have a big hotel base, and the hotels that are there are somewhat basic. The Tabist is probably the best hotel in town, although it does not make a super special first impression (a very retro hallway/reception area). The rooms are Japanese style, so you sleep on the floor, but they are spacious and are equipped with all the modern amenities (electric kettle, fridge, tv set etc.). They include private bathrooms. The breakfast buffet is magnificent and consists of local delicacies, including sashimi or crab soup. The staff is responsive and speaks some English. The hotel is located in the main street, with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.

Clean staff was friendly

Nemuro is not that nice to visit. We tried to go for dinner in Nemuro but we were refused in 4 places before we found a restaurant that let us in. It was during opening hours (18:00) and it did not look too crowded so it might have been because we were foreigners.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. The hotel is very well situated, near the train station and in the city centre, close the restaurants and Aeon supermarket. The room was spacious and it was great to use the hot bath after a day of hiking!

It was hot in the room, so I had to open the window or use the AC.

Japanese room for 3 guests was spacious! Microwave was available - very handy as we arrive late that day and most good restaurants were closed.

Only one or two electric sockets available, despite the large room. Onsen was small.

The staff were very friendly; our room was very comfortable, but basic; the breakfast was excellent. Easy parking and walking distance to restaurants.

Affordable and good location. There was an information board and books about nature & wildlife.

Not much to do or see near the hotel but good for after driving to various spots during the day. There's an Aeon supermarket just down the street.
