Very unique. Lovely pool. Very attentive and friendly staff. Architect designed, which I appreciated but the decor and rooms were very minimal which might not be to everyone’s taste. The bikes were great.

No bar. The restaurant was a pleasant experience but I like to sit and have a night cap before bed and everything sort of shut down around 9 ish. A little bar on an evening would make a huge difference. Overall this is a lovely hotel, and with a few minor improvements could go from 4 to 5 stars.

The place is definitely unique - a repurposed quarry, in an desertic island that is all covered in abandoned quarries, will stay in your memory for long. Plus, it works as an oasis for the local fauna. We had a lot of fun observing the birds, specially the seagulls. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, specially Francesca at the reception and the van driver.

The mattress is not the most comfortable, WiFi didn’t work in my room. It’s a matter of personal preference but I would prefer not to have music in the pool and restaurant areas, the nature sounds are entertaining enough.

The breakfast was quite good. The hotel was quite unique and I enjoyed that.

No one explained to us that we could use their services to take a ride into the town. I feel that given the remoteness of the hotel that they should have a continuous shuttle to the village: also I felt that the service is the restaurant was just ok. Not great. Cala Rossa had a steep unsafe descent and no one warned us about that. I would say that the hotel staff can definitely improve on its communications.

Loved the unique location inside a limestone quarry. Very very cool!! The hire of bikes and service was fabulous! If you had any trouble with bikes they came to you anywhere on the island and helped immediately. The debrief on checking in about the hotel and island was very helpful.

The beds were not very comfy and wifi was not fabulous but nothing we couldn’t handle.

Impossibile to describe the magic of this place, set in side a completely excavated quarry, but still full of light and magic. Minimalist design, spacious rooms, beautiful pool and grounds, great staff and service.

I liked everything…even without a car or bikes, beach is walking distance and taxis or shuttle to the center in the evening or from the port.

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic pool area. Very good fruit and smoothies in the bar. Large and nice rooms with great shower. Very nice and service minded staff. We loved it here!

A bit far from town. Hotel facilitated shuttle, but not many options at night. For those not wanting to have a late dinner in town there could have been an earlier shuttle back to the hotel. But we solved it by renting bikes.

The location is amazing and the whole property is very well designed and comfortable. The distance to the village is not a problem because there is a convenient transfer arranged by the hotel for the guests. The e-bikes were very well maintained and it was fun to get around the island with those. The personnel was very helpful and kind.

I suggest to include few basic amenities in the rooms such as body lotion and cotton swabs and maybe a small shop within the hotel premises. It is very likely that guests packing lightly for the trip don’t have such things and it’s difficult to find a shop nearby.

Well-located resort close to everything.

Most of the staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. We had a few confusing interactions, including being directed to the wrong part of the hotel to find our room after check-in.

Member of staff recognised me from a previous stay, nice to be welcomed back. Great breakfast, pool area and bike rentals. Friendly staff all round.

Departed before breakfast was served and reception said it will be ok to get a coffee and whatever was out but unfortunately this wasn’t handed over to the night team.
