Staff very kind and helpful (with advises and recommendations for the time in Kigoma) big room, big bed (with net for mosquitos), very good bathroom. The breakfast included is absolutely top, with a lot of variety of local and continental dishes (fresh and cooked every day). Over the expectations! If I will ever come back to Tanzania and Kigoma, I will come back here for sure.

Everything was great. The price represented excellent value for money. The sheets were high quality and clean, the bed comfortable. The room cool. The staff, particularly Maxi, were helpful and friendly. I extended my stay.

Eggs for breakfast more often ! And some jam to go with the very good chapati would have been nice.

Firstly the staff! They are very friendly and attentive and really want you to have a great stay. Pretty exceptional service from them. I had a budget room so got what was expected. But the room was clean, and the shower worked well. Christopher is a good chef and makes some delicious meals, breakfast was a nice treat in the mornings. It’s also located in a good part of town, maybe ten minutes walk from the centre and another five to the lake.

As is often the case through Africa the Wifi can be a little patchy. But it worked okay in the common areas.

Superb people running the place. Clean and tidy rooms and toilets. Walkable distance to the city centre, 10 mins. The host can arrange boda boda/tuktuk to the bus station early in the morning for onward journeys such as dar or mwanza. Good WiFi and they have hot shower. The chef is the main man.He cooks delicious food and the most recommended meal is chicken curry and rice. It was too good. The breakfast is decent too.

Nothing at all

Very helpful staff! We arrived at 11 pm and the chef cooked a good dinner for us. The receptionist also was kind. The bedroom is simple, but has a good and hot shower. Good value. Good Wi-Fi in common area. Near Burundi consulate.

The breakfast is very good, but with no western options.

Good location, rooms are fine for the price. Let us keep our luggage there while we went to Gombe. Plenty of restaurants and shops around. The restaurant does nice food but order well in advance...

WiFi could be weak at times.

Staying at Leaders Lodge was the best decision! The rooms are clean, the atmosphere is very chill and the food is very nice. Obed was very friendly and helpful, and Christofer’s food was delicious! I would choose this place again whithout a doubt (I recommended it to another tourist who was unhappy about his hotel and he also loved it).

Liked the lobby and the dinner was good. No option if you need any other food that is off the dinner menu.

The staff was very friendly. Obede and Christopher were very good! Christopher cooked very good meals, however it would take extremely long so one would need to place an order afew hours early.

Great place to stay in kigoma. Good room. Obede looked after us very well. Christopher was great as well keeping us fed at breakfast and providing ne with coffee
