It's always a pleasure to stay at Landhotel Kahltalmuehle. You will not find better value for money in the Kahl region. The rooms are quiet, large, comfy, clean. Breakfast is delicious Staff are super friendly, helpful, literally trying to meet all your requests. Plus, it's a gorgeous location, right next to the river and with a lovely beer garden adjoining. I've been there about 5 times now, and will keep coming back.

I had a terrific stay at Landhotel Kahtalmuehle. It was my second time. This time around, it was even more pleasant. The new owners were exceptionally friendly, caring, helpful. I arrived late at night (after midnight, in fact), and the owner himself came to open the door for me. The room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom has a lovely walk-in shower. Everything looked very modern and state-of-the-art. Lovely service and breakfast (omelettes made to your specifications). An all-around wonderful three days.

Beautiful restored mill/ barn along the Kahll River. Initially disappointed the beer garden was closed, but when trying to sleep, we were glad it was closed. Staff extra helpful. Quiet, restful place!

Respectful renovation of a old barn with many period features. Restaurant was very nice, good food. Staff and owner were fabulous, very attentive and invested in making sure you had a nice time!

Hardly a fault at all, but it can get busy as the restaurant and beer garden are very popular! Make sure you reserve a table at weekends.

The rooms are very big and comfortable with anything you need to feel good! It was very calm and cosy and the owner was very kind. Very good breakfast too. There's a big parking in front of the hotel. I was really surprised about the quality of the place. Just don't hesitate!

Heating goes off after 22. In the morning it was really cold in the room (-3 deg outside). Wifi does not allow to make calls oves whatsapp or signal.
