Place was clean and the rooms very comfortable. The manager upon departure was great and helpful.

On arrival we identify a mistake (either from Booking.com or from the Hotel and one of our rooms had only 1 bed. I ask the receptionist if we could change and the answer was a hard NO since we did the booking through booking.com. This was despite having available rooms. I had no other option than to pay for another room (and she was ready to cancel the one I already paid!). The Hotel has no breakfast option (only brunch) and when I asked for advice on where to get an early breakfast was very unhelpful :-( .

We had breakfast at the Crooked Fork it was very good. There is no breakfast in the hotel which is a shame. But the local restaurants benefit from this. The town is great to walk around. Sunflower Sisters Cafe is also excellent for baked goods the coffee is amazing plus they have savoury dishes it is a lovely town to walk around the townspeople are friendly

No breakfast. no Netflix available. Tv was ok but to have either Netflix or Prime on the console would be better. Otherwise everything is great at this hotel.

Nothing comes to mind - I spent 40 years flying all over the world and sleeping in hotels - The owners have paid attention to detail. Frank at the front Desk was like dealing with old friend - very helpful. The Hotel is for me one of the Jewels in the Kootneys - Phenominal views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Right in the heart of Kaslo - easy walk to everything. Summer or winter, it would be my choice.

This historic hotel has been updated and the rooms are very comfortable, yet retain the historic vibe. The bathrooms are modernized, the bed linens are toasty warm and luxurious, and the location was quiet so I had a good night's sleep. I phoned the desk to ask for a blow dryer, and they quickly brought one up to the room. Good service!

Staff isn't on the desk 24/7 so if you had questions after 9 pm, there was no one to help.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting in a lovely village, and the renovated heritage building looks very authentic. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a big balcony overlooking the water and the mountains. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant downstairs was good, and very convenient!

A minor point - some information about the hotel and things like where to get food - would have been helpful in the room, although there was some in the lobby downstairs.

Excellent location, ample parking, well maintained building. The restaurant had a fabulous view overlooking the lake and mountains, and the food was very well prepared. Our room was very spacious.

The beds and the chairs in the room were very soft. As someone with a bad back, 2 nights in the bed was definitely enough for me.

We liked everything about the property, but the restaurants were closed when we were there and so there was nowhere to find food mid week in April. Just check ahead of time if restaurants will be open when you’re there.

Loved how large the room was and with 3 people it was nice to have the space.We enjoyed the deck outside our room and nice to sit back and people watch.

We were told by email that the hot tub was not in service and upon arrival we realized it was in service.Just one small disappointment

We had a lake view room for 2 nights and we very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel was recently renovated and it is beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant on site was also great. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Overall it was a lovely experience.

You could tell the hotel is very well cared for. Maintenance in the room was impeccable as there was no paint chips on the walls or broken tiles in the bathroom. Also the room was very quiet including the heating system.

The hotel restaurant didn’t open until 11:30 so no breakfast on site. No one was at the front desk at checkout so we were unable to tell them how much we enjoyed our stay.
