The breakfast was out of this world. A huge platter of cheese, meat, dried fruit, nuts and olives. This came with 4 croissants, 2 yoghurts and a plate of salad. This was the 'starter'! The main was a choice of cooked breakfasts, followed by dessert. If anyone has actually managed to eat all of this, I salute you.

My room was one outside which had a lovely view, but it was not well insulated and was therefore drafty. I would stay in the same room in the summer, but I would stick with the main house during the winter.

A very elegant, cozy, and beautiful Chateau only an 1.5 hr taxi drive from Chisinau. The grounds were simply exceptional, very well taken care of landscaping with ponds, paddle boats, swans and plenty of cute spots to either sit and relax with a book or enjoy a glass of wine. The Chateau, restaurant and rooms are well furnished. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was stocked with toiletries, robes and slippers. We were warmly greeted at the reception front desk by Anatoly, he was very kind, informative and personally took us and our luggage to our room, Anatoly was also able to schedule for us a private cellar tour and wine tasting. Our Cellar tour guide Igor was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour as well as tasting an array of Moldovan Purcari Wines, highly recommend the experience. The food served at the restaurant was amazing! They have options of local cuisine and international dishes, like steak and pasta, as well as a full breakfast- offering English, American and Traditional Moldovan options. Our waiter Ceprean was very kind, attentive and helpful with food options. Let’s just say we immensely enjoyed our stay at the Chateau Purcari and will defiantly be visiting again!

The ambience, the food the wine ...

If you do not have a wine-tasting, the Purcari staff does a poor job of showcasing their products: a "set menu" (not a "tasting menu") is offered with only one glass of wine. Nothing wrong with the food or wine - both exquisite! But c'mon: please give us indicisive or non-connaisseurs a little help: We love your high-quality products, and need a little nudging. In addition, the few waiters were actually running, and that no time (or skills (?), incl. English language) to assist ... Anyway, we learn our lesson AND will come back.

We came to this place with our family to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We also got acquainted with the wine production at Purcari and tasted the wines, learning a lot about them. We discovered how to recognize the taste, depth, and aroma of wine. We really enjoyed it. It’s a special place to spend quality time and celebrate an occasion. The food and service are of a high standard. We thank our evening tour guide and the very kind and cheerful young man who served us at the restaurant — he was wonderful.🫶🏼🙂

Beautiful place, nice staff, good food and some very good wines. Nice surroundings.

It is definitely a beautiful place but very expensive, both in terms of accommodation and food, especially if you consider you're in Molodova. Also, we were assigned a room facing part of the production facilities with noisy ventilators on the roof. They changed the room to a one facing the main yard. I cannot imagine staying in a room where all day you hear industry noise and you pay for it 140 euro a night (supposedly at night the ventilators are shut down).

The place is near a small village, so there is nothing else to see really - but you can spend plenty of good time on or around the property. There are fields and parks to walk and there is a small lake also nearby. The surroundings are beautiful! Accidentally we booked the tower suite, so it was a nice surprise to realise that our room has two stories, with the bathroom on the second floor overseeing the whole property. You can see the wineyards from the shower cabin, absolutely recommended! The staff was very nice at all times, they worked very hard went above and beyond all requests. Always nice and helpful. Breakfast and all foods were excellent!

The barrel room has an amazing view to the vineyard, the bed was very comfortable. The landscape was awesome, the tour was nice and the guide was knowledgeable. Breakfast variety is fair enough.

During the checkout, there was misunderstanding from the receptionist as he charged us more than the price we booked from booking.com (extra 20$). Upon asking him the reason for this, we discovered that they mixed between our booking and our friends’ booking (which was paid already ahead). Such mistakes can be avoid by printing a proper invoice for the customer mentioning the price and website he used. - the dinner at the restaurant was overpriced compared with other chateau we have visited. Especially the local Moldovan dishes, among all the plates we ordered I can say the best dish was the fillet mignon with brown rice and broccoli. - the bicycles were not available during our stay and under maintenance, however it was advertised in their Instagram.

The on-site restaurant offers a variety of dishes that are not only visually appealing but also bursting with flavor. Every meal was a culinary delight, from the fresh breakfast spreads to the exquisite dinners paired with wines from the vineyard. Hotel also proved to be an ideal location for families. The hotel offers plenty of activities and amenities that cater to all ages, making it a perfect destination for creating wonderful family memories. In conclusion, our stay at Purcari was an unforgettable experience filled with great memories, delicious food, and impeccable service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a serene and enjoyable getaway. Whether you're a couple, or a family, Purcari has something special to offer everyone.

Excellent wine and food, possibility to walk or bike around the location - free bikes and maps available, great tour of the wine cellaries.

The room was getting very hot and air conditioning was taking a while to cool it. I couldn't sleep very well since the sun was hitting the bed directly in the morning, some curtains would have been helpful.

We fell with Purcari wine and it was our dream to stay at this hotel. The atmosphere and the surroundings are very beautiful. We totally recommend to visit this place for wine lovers.

I would like here to mention that the personell at the receptions was not as professional as we would expect, or they were a bit shy even they could speak good English. My recommendation: ask politely about our way to Purcari (which was not easy from the north of the country, bad road); wish the guests to have a nice stay; not always available at the reception. But they are really friendly and polite. Just some recommendations for a high standards hotel like Purcari.
