Have stayed here many times. Staff always friendly and helpful. Family oriented staff with helpful suggestions and always have a smile on their faces. To have had such a turn around after devastating hurricanes. They (the whole town) have done an amazing job to get everything up and running. The improvements to the marina and store are great. The marina restaurant has expanded the menu. Roys still has amazing food. Using a food truck for now.

honestly... I have no complaints. Sorry to see Maddies gone. Not the same at dollar general.

Had "operator error" with TV remote but front office personnel fixed over the phone. Not five minutes later another employee appeared at the door to make certain problem was resolved. Also, had problem balancing some luggage up to the second floor but housekeeper noted problem (must have been through a window) and rushed downstairs to carry luggage for us. Great help! Everyone was friendly and super helpful. Don't want to forget people across the street at the "grill" associated with the motel. Great people. We will absolutely be returning and telling our friends.

A beautiful little town - undergoing lots of rebuilding works following the Storm of last year - very friendly people - great food. The property was good with very friendly staff. Interesting place - beautiful river flowing into the sea.

the room smelt of smoking - the previous occupant must have been a heavy smoker and it was very strong throughout our stay. Not pleasant.

Had a great stay for 6 of the nights. Went south when the owner accused us of squatting due to a front office mistake. Simple mistake but him approaching my wife and rudely asking her if we just planned on staying until they threw us out was completely uncalled for. We have stayed there before and love the staff and the location, but probably won't be back or recomend the place after this. JA also never appoligized after realizing their mistake. He might consider staying away from the day to day operations as he doesn't have the temperament to deal with the people that are supporting his business.

I like the location and the fact there was a pool and it was clean. The rooms were nice and clean.

We rented a suite with a kitchen/stove so we could cook breakfast. We wasn’t able to cook because of the fire alarm constantly going off just from the steam. Nothing was burning. I didn’t like the dogs that were in the pool. or the dogs that people had just running around inside the fence at the pool. I also didn’t like there were people coming from outside the fence from behind the hotel and walking into rooms and out of the rooms and back out the gate. The rooms are dark even with the lights on. the lights are very dim.

The property is very clean and well maintained. Room was very clean, beds were super comfy and Patty and Rob couldn't have been more helpful. Quiet location. Fun to watch the boat hoist across the street!

There was honestly nothing we didn't like.

The location was excellent and more than expected. The unit was well laid out, spacious and spic and span clean. The gal that checked us in was delightful and her recommendation for dinner was spot on - Roy’s!! It had been a long day of travel for two seniors so this was a hidden gem.

Needs some minor repairs in the bathroom but nothing that interrupted our stay.

Beautiful place to stay , but pick up all supply's needed bf you get there no real stores , no grocery store & nice little store there closed at 5. Otherwise peaceful, people friendly and nice .

Apartment was nice but they could add more cookware to use. We also didn’t have any dish rags to use for dishes could have also used a broom and dustpan to clean up after ourselves

The hotel is always amazing! The staff is great. They refresh your room daily and are always helpful.

Boat rentals need to be upgraded. They are out dated and the worst boat we have ever been on that we ended up turning it in after the first day instead of keeping it for our entire stay.
