Thank you to the entire team at Hotel Materra who always had a smile for me! My stay was simply fabulous from the moment I stepped in until my departure after 4 days. What a good surprise this place was, somewhat of a hidden gem in the countryside of Osijek! The hotel was designed by a local Architect with so much style and attention to the details that it's hard not to fall in love with the place. You have to experience it yourself to understand. I loved wandering around and sit in various places during my stay and I could not get bored of it. I am a well traveled person staying in fancy hotels around the world. I can easily say that the facilities of this place are 5 stars and with the best quality equipments (bedroom, bathrom, gym, spa, pool, sitting areas, BEST coffee and super stylish decoration). The owner has achieved a master piece and I can't wait to see the future developments around the hotel which will certainly turn this hotel into a destination on its own! Congratulations!!

Pure perfection!

Very new (stayed in May 2024) hotel so has that lovely impeccable clean look and feel. The room was spacious, walk in shower and large balcony, also the most comfortable pillows ever! The breakfast is also very good quality and an amazing selection including an array of chopped fresh fruit and veg to make your own cold pressed juice!

There was no guest seating area to enjoy the sun. All communal outside seating is cleverly shaded as it gets baking hot here, I was told by staff. It was indeed extremely hot in May already but as we were visiting from the UK we would have loved to soak up the sun anyway. (Which we did on our own balcony so no big deal)

The minimalist hotel building was beautiful, and the room was clean and nicely decorated. The wellness area was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best buffet selections I’ve ever experienced, and we had an amazing dinner at the restaurant next to the hotel as well. Although it's located in the middle of nowhere, the hotel offers everything you need, so I highly recommend it!

Excellent hotel, from the seamless architecture with natural light and nature throughout the space, to the minimalist design and earth elements… loved it! The rooms are spotless with every amenity I could need and stylish touches at each corner. The spa is really well designed - I woke up extra early to enjoy the swimming pool and saunas and didn’t want to leave! It’s also great that they use all-natural products, I feel that really elevated the experience and benefits I got from the spa. Food is great - they have excellent gluten-free bread, couldn’t get enough of it! I ended up spending most of my time in the lounge, my favourite space - truly amazing coffee (best I’ve had in Croatia so far), super comfy seating areas, brilliant unobstructed views of the natural surroundings, and the warmest and friendliest staff 😇 Can’t wait to be back!

This new hotel is gorgeous!! From the moment I walked in, I was amazed by its stunning design. Every detail, inside and out. The spa here is a standout feature. What sets it apart is the fact that it's not in the basement but on the first floor so it is full of natural light, making it feel airy and even more beautiful. The saunas are spacious, and the treatments are not your usual hotel spa treatments, but more on the energy and beauty side. One thing I appreciated was the hotel's use of natural cosmetics. It's a Korean brand that I had the chance to try before and was amazed by the results. Their toner essence is something you have to try!!!! Knowing I can purchase them at the spa next time is a definite plus. But what truly made my stay memorable was the genuine hospitality of the staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone I encountered was friendly and accommodating. <3 In summary, this hotel offers a 5-star experience. Can't wait to come back!!!!

Everything was exceptional. Whole experience is excellent. Staff exceptional! Wellness great, spacious sauna, relax area with all spa amenities, everything you need for complete relaxation. With everything in mind, they have gotten a loyal client that will return again, for sure. Hopefully very soon.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by Hotel Materra. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and our room was absolutely beautiful. The plush bedding, spacious bathroom with glass wall was a particular highlight. We especially loved the on-site spa with its spectacular views of the surrounding nature. The hotel's location was perfect for relaxation, with access to green fields and woods for peaceful walks. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Materra and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Breakfast was 10/10 - so much to choose from and the food is truly delicious. Everyone is so nice and polite, they even helped surprise my fiance with sparkling wine and a cake for his birthday. They were so helpful and friendly. Thank you again to the whole Materra team! :) Wellness was top notch. The views from the pool and saunas - just wow. Everything was perfectly clean.

What an amazing hotel, brand new, modern with great design. Super clean and very friendly staff. Also pet friendly, brought a nice bed and plates for our dog.

Location is great for travellers passing by, but i am not sure if its a destination byitself. Nevertheless it worked for us.
