The communication with the property owner was excellent, there were no surprises, the decor and art work was lovely and the kitchen was fully equipped. There was a basket with shells and rocks that had guest comments and artwork. Although not beach weather, (we were there mid October) we went to beach to find a rock to leave a message with the pen provided. We arrived on the evening of the harvest moon and it was not in our view in the evening but we woke up to view it over the ocean in front of the cottage. My sisters and I took our elderly mother with dementia on a road trip and our stay at the cottage was perfect. Our mom gave our trip a !0/10 and a good part of that goes to the accommodations.

Our cottage had a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and it was a super quiet location. After all the driving we did, I relaxed my aching body in the jacuzzi, an excellent amenity. All 3 of us enjoyed our overnight stay and we definitely will be coming back again and telling all our friends about this great vacation spot. A beautiful sunset. A great value for the price.

We gave the larger bedroom to our International student from Germany and her bed was softer than ours. I'm used to a memoryform bed so sleeping on a firm mattress takes a while for me to adjust to.

Very quiet and relaxing dispite a rainy weekend. Everything you would need is in the delightful cottage to have a BBQ or cook a full meal. Our second evening we went into Clyde River to a family restaurant and enjoyed that too.

We played a game around the kitchen table because the weather was so rainy and after a while the wooden chairs became uncomfortable for a few of us( probably an age thing) so cushions on the seats may have helped with that. So you can see I don't really have much to complain about.

We liked staying somewhere so quiet all you could hear were the few sea birds. Great nights’ sleeps.

It was a bit of a ways out when we didn’t understand exactly where we’d booked but you can get accustomed. We would have appreciated the “book” out on the coffee table as we didn’t find it until our second last day but when we did find it we immediately drove to the spectacular Roseway Beach!

The location for us was wonderful, very close to family and the location that we came to visit. Loved the view and the cottage was perfect for me and my siblings. We were in the accessible cottage and it worked out perfect for my sister who has mobility issues.

Maybe a sign out by the road that explained to travel down the driveway to the cottages, to check in would be helpful. It was a little confusing about check in. As I haven't travelled often since Covid, I was not aware of the touchless check in process, but wow how convenient. I don't recall seeing anything prior about the process with my reservation confirmation.

The location was beautiful, and the cottages were spaced out enough that it felt peaceful, even with other guests around. It was well heated and clean, and the whirlpool bathtub was fantastic.

Communication could have been better, apparently I was meant to receive an email when I booked with instructions but this never materialised. I followed up and was given very basic check in and out times and I did worry that I had missed something without the initial email.

Peaceful, quiet location. Clean well furnished cabin. Large bathroom. Close to many beaches. Our new favorite beach of all times is Roseway, only 9 minutes away. Large, clean, nearly empty beach with clean Porta potty. Loved everything about our stay. Owner was very pleasant and helpful when we needed assistance with the TV.

Shelf space in bathroom would have been very useful.

When I walked in the door, my favourite genre of music was playing softly in the background. It brought a smile to my face. The cottage is cozy, comfortable for 4 people, and has a great view of the ocean. The kitchen is stocked with glassware, dishes, utensils, and pots. At the water's edge was a fire pit complete with a supply of wood. (In any other year, it would have been enticing to sit and watch the ocean, but 2023 was the year of the huge fire in Nova Scotia. So no bonfires this year!) The historic waterfront of nearby Shelburne is an interesting way to spend a few hours. Whispering Waves is a great spot to relax and unwind with family, friends, and fur babies. Cheers Lynda

The kitchen tap made me giggle. It reminded me of the old-style 4-on-the-floor gearshifts. Unwieldy and inaccurate. I was never quite sure if I was aiming the tap toward cold or hot water.

We got 2 cottages for our family New Year reunion, both of which were beautiful. The location was lovely, with a nice sunset view. Gorgeous for couples or small families. Lovely and responsive hosts.

Not that I didn't like it, I loved all of it, but one of our our cottage's bbq pit could have been a little cleaner.

Everything was very good, peace and quiet exceptional , enjoyed the birds and numerous deer , staff very friendly, a beautiful, wonderfully quiet place to get a good rest, very clean
