The hotel is recently and beautifully refurbished. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very good. The location of the hotel was perfect, being halfway if you're travelling from North to South of Spain. It was not far from the motorway, but in a quiet and picturesque village. The room was spacious and the bathroom facilities were excellent. There was a coffee machine provided in the room and a welcome pack for our small dog.
Though lovely to look at I found the section of glass flooring a little unnerving to walk on.

Really lovely hotel in the best spot in Hervas. Step out of the door and you're in the amazing medieval quarter. However don't be fooled. It's called the Jewish quarter and literally adorned with multiple Stars of David. This was a marketing ploy in the 1960s. Jews never lived there. But it's absolutely worth seeing. The hotel bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept like a log. We had the set dinner for €18, which was 3 courses, water, a glass of wine or a soft drink and bread. The asparagus soup was the best I've tasted. It was very good value. We came with our dog, which gets a €15 surcharge. However there was a bed, 2 bowls and a toy waiting for her. Saved dragging more stuff up from the car.
A couple of things let it down slightly. October can be really warm in Spain. The room was too hot and the aircon had been turned off for the season. And the pool was closed for the season as well. I'm happy to swim in cold pools and I wish we'd known before booking.

Good location on the edge of town for easy arrival but short walk to centre. The building is an attractive former convent. Plenty of secure on-site parking to the rear. Lovely swimming pool which opens at 10 am for a pre-check out swim; plenty of sunbeds. Mini bar fridge in the room. The town itself is interesting with quaint medieval houses in the old centre, a Via Verde hiking route along a disused railway line and a significant classic motorbike museum.
There was very little water pressure in the shower. The maintenance could be a bit more careful - paint missing from furniture legs, empty picture hooks, rawl plugs in the walls - give out a slightly uncared for appearance. It would be nice to have an attractive outside space in which to enjoy a drink. Not quite the finesse of a Parador.

The staff was really great, the location was nice and the garden looked pretty. Dog friendly.
The air conditioning in the room was not working and it was 27 degrees inside the room. We changed the room but the Aircon situation was the same, luckily we had two windows that we could open which however they faced the street and it was a bit noisy during the night. The bed was squichy and the furniture outdated which shouldn't happen at this price level. There was no water in the shallow fountain even though there were indications to visit it.

Capacious on site car-parking. The check-in and welcome from Christina (Martin) was superb. She provided us with great assistance throughout our stay - from helping us to fire-up the (free) electric car charging point, to 'phoning local museums confirming open times, and furnishing us with a town plan and information about sites to visit. She was hard-working and charming at all times; she enhanced our stay greatly and clearly is a great asset to the hotel! Our room and bathroom were excellent in all respects; great shower. The hotel has a small but adequate bar/cafe area. Breakfast was generally OK, with good orange juice! There were two varied and very reasonably priced supper menus which alternated nightly i.e. Menu1-Menu2-Menu1, and so on. The food consisted of good ingredients well-prepared - although one major disappointment was the wholly inedible veal rib (all bone and fat and no meat) served up one night; also they seemed, somewhat bizarrely, to run out of ice cream during our stay. The hotel location is perfect for exploring Hervás. We shall visit again and recommend to our traveller friends.
Horrible paper cups, rather than glasses, in our room.

Beautiful historic building on a lovely square with views of the mountains above the special village of Hervas. The common areas around the internal courtyard are attractive retaining the historic elements, with bar and restaurant. The room was quite spacious with a large shower room. The service was very cordial with help to store our enojes in a secure room. Great to have a restaurant with decent 3 course menu at lunch or evening for 18 euros
The hospedería needs a bit of an upgrade. The room was a bit dark and the furniture a bit shabby and old fashioned,

The rooms were large. The bed comfortable. The hotel was on the edge of the old town and easy walk to the tourist sights. The hotel is located is in a refurbished nunnery and adjoins a church. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant dinner fixed menu. The friendly and helpful staff. There is a great walk around the town.
The accumulated dust in the rooms. The air conditioner only seemed to blow hot air. We had to sleep with the window open. All the breakfast options seemed to be sweetened, The coffee from the coffee machine was on the threshold of undrinkable. The lack of oat milk at breakfast.

Fantastic hotel in an amazing little village. Excellent breakfast and lovely pool in a great setting with views of the mountains. The old Jewish quarter of the village has to be seen to be believed, it’s like a film set. We will return.
We stayed on a Monday so most of the restaurants were closed but we found some excellent tapas in a local bar.

The hotel is in a refurbish ed old convent. Inside is spacious and airy. The refurbishment has been done with taste. The location is great for the village and for hiking. The views from our windows were beautiful. The swimming pool and the swimming pool area were really good.
The soundproofing was not very good. So we could hear the people talking next room and probably they could hear us.

Stayed many times before. Nice hotel with friendly staff, and a very pleasant experience. Dinner was good for the price, but would willingly pay a bit more for a better quality main course
Arrived for breakfast 45 mins before close and the scrambled egg was dried out and rubbery. Really needs replacing regularly during the breakfast period
